The app is needed to fly the drone. It works for that. I've not experienced any type of delay or drag time while in use. Now, not sure, if when i crashed into my house if the app caused its out of contrled flight, or it lost contact with the compass calibration or how that all works entirely. Needless to say I have used numerous different drone apps and this one is not the worst. I can honestly say I won't fly the drone out of my sight because of my lack of trust in.

Nice app, but I don't have the option to change resolution as specified in the manual. I do have a proper SD card installed capable of 4K writes. Help would be greatly appreciated. *EDIT* - I received help from customer support and overcame the issue of the resolution feature. However, I'm still unable to apply a firmware update and I'm still unable to use a 128GB SD card with the drone as specified. Firmware updates should be offered through the app, not through the SD card.

Be careful before you buy this brand of drone. The app doesn't work with an S22 phone. The app needs to be updated. I had to use an older phone to get it to work. They should be proactive and have updates in place. Even after turning on airplane mode, it will not connect to wifi.

Everything is great except the batteries. I charge them up to full and by the time I lift off and get above the tree tops they have already dropped to 40 percent or so. I'm getting no more than 6-8 mins of fly time. I guess I've got defective batteries.

Does not work. Every option gets Error please open permissions. Cannot calibrate cannot connect. No response from bwine support.

This is the biggest disappointment of black Friday. I have the app but when I connect to the drones' Wi-Fi it won't show up on the app. No matter what I do. All the symbols stay red and it's not working correct. Pixel 6 pro is a no go with this app. I'll be returning to Amazon. What a drag.

Great distance ability. Image quality is crystal clear. Takes a small amount of time to connect but by far the best drone I have flown for under 500 bucks and the app is flawless on my Samsung.
