Ein neuer Autor, Erzähler und Dramatiker, hat er als "Upanyas Samrat" bezeichnet worden ist ( "Kaiser von Novels") von einigen Hindi Schriftsteller. Er wurde als Dhanpat Rai geboren und begann zunächst unter dem Pseudonym "Nawab Rai" zu schreiben.
