Where did the widget go? I have been using this app for years and happily paid for it in the summertime so I could have an easy to see daily UV forecast since I burn easily. But now it seems like a totally different app, and there is no widget. I never uninstall it, I just stop paying the sub in the winter. Now it's an annual sub only, no widget, and the Ui is totally different. I'll be looking for another app sad to say. It lost the one feature I got it for.

Demands access to location in order to work. There's absolutely NO reason why this should need access to my location at all times to simply function. This should be able to work off a zip-code that you input, but that option is not given. I don't keep my location on at all times for battery and privacy reasons, and this app is essentially unusable if you don't keep your location on 24/7. I can only assume they're selling your data with the refusal to function without constant location access.

The UI is very basic. The app works sometimes but sometimes it fails to load. It's definitely not worth $2.49 a month for the premium edition. Wish they had a lifetime option for maybe $5. I found a much better app that also has the UV index. It is called UVIMate. The UI is better and has much more information. It works more consistently. And better yet is has a $10 lifetime premium option so that you are not stuck paying a monthly fee forever.

It was helpful till they added additional advertisements and only offer a subscription model. I will never pay for a subscription on this type of app-based service, especially when I can simply do a google search for "uv index city-i'm-in." However, I would consider one time fee for lifetime, ad-free access. One the brighter side, I searched the store and have already found an ad-free app with a more pleasing UX.

This is a decent app. The best one I've used but still not great. I pay for premium, it's 99 cents a month but Im fair skinned and use skin care products that require sunscreen use and I need the reminders. The app is fine, the main thing I hate is the widget. You have to be premium for the widget and honestly its kind of trash. There's only one, it's ugly, it's not customizable, and there's no option for a forecast or 2nd locations. If the widget was improved I'd probably call it 5 stars.

takes forever to load and is full of ads. I just tried to view the UV Index in my area, I have endured three ads and the index still hasn't refreshed, the forcast also will not load. Its not a UV Index app, its just a ad machine. I do like the feature that tells you how long you can be in the sun before sunburn, which is why I give them two stars for the idea, but if the information doesn't load then the idea doesn't mean much.

Neat app. The ad pop-up issue was 100% fixed. Wish it was more customizable such as allowing to add and store more than one location, notifications of high UV index in your area, notifications of when the very high UV index is in current time, and adjusting general settings such as layout. The "Maximal Exposure Time Before a Sun Burn" was a nice touch, making the app stand out compared to others. **Developers- Please take my above suggestions into consideration** Would recommend.

I just got the app. Seems simple and to the point. It's a rainy day in my town. The app shows the uv index at 2. 3 and says it's low also. You get 24 hours of premium and 3 days if you rate the app. One could assume that is why this is so highly rated from fast ratings, but I am unsure. I chose this app because it had the most downloads also. I'll be seeing how it goes.
