Experienced a problem with our in-car remote.The assistance from Elecbrakes was absolutely amazing.I have never had better customer relations.Over the phone problem solved and resolved to the highest standard. I strongly recommend Elecbrakes.

First I can't start the app because it needs 'location' in permissions, but the location permissions can't be turned on because they don't show up up in the settings. OK forget about it for now.. Then all of a sudden the app is on trying to connect - when I have nothing to connect to. So I try to turn it off, but can't turn it off the usual way, by the back button - so I turn it off using the kill app function. OK fine, then 40 minutes later my phone is over heating and down to 10%that battery..

Brake controller works very well and is easy to adjust brake sensitivity. The downside is that unless the app remains on top, it times out/sleeps and your brakes lick or fail. Not very handy or safe if you need to also use Maps while driving. The app should always remain active (always on) unless closed. No option to force always on either.
A Google user
Be careful using app if you have a flip cover on your phone!! Using the app for the first time my trailer brakes activated and heated the brake drums until the point where they started smoking. I'm guessing that when I closed the phone cover and put the phone next to the gear stick that it activated the manual over ride button on the app without us realising. In future the phone will be mounted on the dash so I can monitor the phone during use Luckily looks like no major damage on trailer

This app stops working with the device often. Tried installing and reinstalling, doesn't fix the problem. Brakes are looking up. May have to invest into a redarc controller.

Works great HOWEVER... must be on top otherwise it stops working. This is fine UNLESS you need Android auto for navigation or someone calls you! Please update the software to be ALWYS ONTOP. Otherwise a great product.

Terrible can't connect either one of our phones very frustrating our phones keep buzzing like they are responding but we can't connect and the NFC is switched on

Great device, saves you a lot of hassle installing a wired system and works as expected. No issues so far towing a Jayco expanda with a Ford Ranger.
