Total Garbage, STAY AWAY. Gameplay is mostly fine, but sound accuracy and quality is distorted and inaccurate no matter which settings you change. If you try using low latency sound, it is terribly choppy. Just use something like Retroarch, which is free and flawless by comparison. This was tested on an array of devices ranging up to even the snapdragon 845, 888, and 8 Gen 2. I bought this quite awhile ago, but tested it again after much time passing to find it was just as terrible. Shameful.

Netplay absolutely does not work locally under any circumstance. After connecting, it's just two different devices staring at player one. No multiplayer, sadly. I've successfully set up a server and a client and got the connection to happen... But all that happens is player two is watching player one play the game... The emulator does not recognize two separate players at the same time.

Crashes constantly: freeze in gameplay resulting in a still screen (with the quit menu still working) every few minutes, other crashes cause the app to close suddenly, most often without an error message. In between crashes, emulation is very poor: music is TERRIBLE ("sounds wrong"). I HAVE VIDEOTAPED EVIDENCE OF ALL THIS: the dev claims I'm lying (below) in his reply. Reported these problems to the developer: he refused a refund, lied about Google refund procedure, not interested in helping.

Edit/Update: I truly wish to sincerely state my graduate and respect to you for your efforts in making this emulator and taking your time to respond to my issue. It's unfortunately very rare to find people like you that genuinely seek to earn respect instead of foolishly attempting to demand it sadly. It will take me to the option after tapping on it, but it wants me to manually type in a different location with very unclear direction (Added characters) instead of a Back & Forward option. 😥

Have you heard about scoped storage on android 11 ? Well, my Samsung s21 ultra has android 11, and your app's explorer sees folders but no roms in the folders. This is a HUGE BUG for a paid app. Fix this please. Edit 1 after dev's answer : I have an Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra 5g. I am not doing anaything wrong. As mentioned initially : the explorer bit of your app sees folders, but doesn't see ANY game rom files in the folder. That's a classic bug in the transition to with target SdkVersion=30.

Missing features that I wish were here: 1.) Set the app's volume level independent of other apps 2.) Increase font size so that button labels are legible on my phone (pixel2) 3.) Hide all unused buttons 4.) Manually add boxart to the game list, since the app only found the art for one of my games. 5.) Add custom overlay and button graphics 6.) If UI and Button customization improves, I'd like to be able to backup my layout

Boom! Thanks for 4.5.1. Fantastic brilliantly conceived SMS emulator. Great features/menu system. Clever but not annoyingly so (Freeze/Restore is save states but a bit smart) Emulates near perfect. If you have any Sega 8 bit nostalgia this app is worthy of your money. Dev responds to concerns in timely manner. Genuinely impressed and I'm normally very cynical and critical of paid emulators. Much respect. A galaxy of stars if I could. And now back to Wonderboy...

Help. When I continue a game, the last time I played. The game rom either leads you to new game or the very beginning of the game. Instead of continuing where you progressed far. Is something wrong with the emulator? Please help. Thank you.
