Το Checkers για Android (draughts) αποτελείται από μια μηχανή πούλι 8x8 και ένα GUI. Η εφαρμογή δέχεται κινήσεις μέσω της οθόνης αφής ή του trackball. Ένα προαιρετικό "move coach" εμφανίζει όλες τις έγκυρες κινήσεις χρήστη και επισημαίνει κάθε τελευταία κίνηση που παίχτηκε. Η πλήρης πλοήγηση του παιχνιδιού επιτρέπει στους χρήστες να διορθώνουν λάθη ή να αναλύουν παιχνίδια. Τα παιχνίδια εισάγονται και εξάγονται ως FEN/PDN προς και από το πρόχειρο ή μέσω κοινής χρήσης ή ρυθμίζονται μέσω ενός επεξεργαστή θέσης. Ο κινητήρας παίζει σε διάφορα επίπεδα (συμπεριλαμβανομένου του τυχαίου και του ελεύθερου παιχνιδιού). Μετά από δημοφιλές αίτημα, προστέθηκε μια επιλογή για επιλογή μεταξύ υποχρεωτικών συλλήψεων (ο επίσημος κανόνας) ή προαιρετικών συλλήψεων (ένας κοινός κανόνας έδρας, αλλά χωρίς "huffing", όπου το κομμάτι που θα έπρεπε να είχε πραγματοποιήσει τη σύλληψη χάνεται. Great checkers game. I hope you might consider making the level of the computer opponent adjustable by using an ELO rating ranging from 200 to 2400. If this is more work than it's worth, would you consider adding difficulty adjustment by fixed depth in addition to fixed time as you already do, to bridge the gap between random play and that 1st second, and make your excellent apps more accessible to people who are just starting out.

The game's interface is minimalist and fresh. I'm not too interested in CPUs/AIs in checkers, so I won't comment on that. However, I value multilayer mode. One suggestion: Slow down the animations. Because of the high speed of the animations, when introducing checkers to people, I'm stuck having to explain why a piece just seemingly teleported horizontally across the board, disappearing with a handful of pieces. Otherwise, allow players to input every jump till the end of the jump sequence.

Update: you're right Aart I was being unfair. I'm no beginner and I do win the very occasional game. But the easiest level, (not random) is in my opinion, too hard. There is no possibility of my moving through the levels. Great programming though.

No fun for me unfortunately, because it's too difficult at any of the intelligent levels - computer way ahead - or too easy at random. Could it be easier in the first levels with more limits to the AI as to avoid the strategy of jumping many pieces in a single move for example etc?

An excellent and very challenging app for sharpening one's game. First class creation. My only suggestion would be the addition of some problems/puzzles for training. There doesn't seem to be any available on Google Play. Five stars all round.

Im disappointed by this app so i rate three stars only first the level 10 time of thinking is so slow it takes about 180 seconds second the checkers engine repeat the same move and it's easy to win against the checkers engine i think adjust the playing strenght and pls. adjust the thinking time of checkers engine to atleast 15 second it is so slow to think

the auto play is doing illegal moves on the board, twice the game jumped spaces from across the board when it wasn't actually possible to make the moves... I played the game again and it does move randomly, this.maybbe down to other factors or even the hardware

Excellent checkers game, especially the "Position Setup" feature, it's very good to practice from books. can you please add another variant of the game such as Russian or Pool Rules. Thank you.
