It's a very bad app. 2 devices used to access one doorbell. Sometimes only 1 gets notified, sometimes neither. The communication with the doorbell is laggy. Frequently the unlock just wont work. When I do get alerted I try to see what the alarm is and nothing ever comes up. Sometimes alerts I used to see arent viewable anymore. The alerts turn on my screen and leave it on, forever, which overheats my phone. Since installing my screen randomly stops responding to touch requiring a forced reboot.

This product feels like a huge money grab. My apartment complex chose to use a door management system that requires a subscription to use the features. The app is full of popups to get users to pay just so they can use the features of the front door. The door passcodes have to be navigated to and are not immediately available on the main page. The swipe to unlock feature is behind a paywall. A fob and standard call box would have been so much better that this system.

It works some days and not others. Programming is easy. Recording, not so much. I've tried motion recording, and recording anytime someone inputs their code. It just records when ever it wants. There is no option to record when the wrong code is entered either. Glad I have nest cameras inside. I give a 3 because it does physically work, and install was easy enough. But the app, not so great

All of the codes we create using the Doordeer app require the # sign before and after the access code. Can we create a code with the Doordeer app that doesn't require the # symbol? Can we use the * symbol instead? Our keypad does not have a # sign and we are not able to use the Doordeer app.

As an upgrade from their former ControlCam2 app, this is far superior. Reliability was a big issue both in their previous generation of IP doorbell and in the app. These 3rd gen doorbells and new app make a massive difference in both ease of use and reliability. Definitely consider upgrading from gen2 to gen3 so you can use the new Doordeer app.

App needs improved and needs Alexa enabled. I find when I get movement notices I can't go to live unless I close app and go back in. Also looking SD recordings needs serious improvement. HD Camera is low quality along with no night vision.

When it works its not bad but there have been too many times where I try to answer a call and it errors and doesnt work, have missed deliveries because of it.

Pathetic! Basic features don't work! My phone doesn't ring at all when someone calls. Paid $500 for the GDS device and there is zero support for this!
