So disappointed. I love MLJ but the developers have ruined this app with the latest update. All of the sermons I had marked as played have all now reverted to being unplayed. The sermon I just listened to when finished just looped back to the beginning. Another sermon I started and paused, restarted from the beginning. Nothing like wrecking a good app. You should have left it alone.

One of God's gifts to Christ's Church was his servant Dr. Martyn Lloyd Jones. It's the sermons from God's Word that get 5 stars. The app has been improved and is okay, but it is a blessing to have access to an app for these sermons. Thank you Lord, and thank you MLJ Trust. Update: App has been crashing for awhile now, so I listen online.

The app works well on my phone. No crashing issues like in the past (like 2 yrs ago). Grateful for the technical updates to improve the sound quality of very old recordings.

The content is fantastic! ETA the recent September 2024 upgrade has rendered the app completely unusable. Please fix as this used to be my favorite one!

Thank you for this app to help me access the great content of the MLJ library! Full props for content. The revival series is among the best I've found! A few more functions would be very helpful: search by scripture; app restarts when entering split-screen mode; browse collections and view topics are redundant functions; no history or bookmarking function.

I want to like this app and use it, but every download prompts for accepting the terms, and/or starts like it's downloading but can't do anything. I have to quit the app. It would be ideal to only accept the terms once and then be able to queue multiple downloads instead of waiting for it to download one episode at a time. Guess I'll just use the website.

MLJ is a great preacher, but this app has issues. I downloaded it a week or so ago, and I've listened to a couple of sermons. But, the last couple of days, when I search for sermons that I know he has preached, the app just spins and spins and never returns any results. The only thing I see is the previous sermon I already listened to, and that is showing at the bottom of the app display window. I'm able to use their website to listen to his sermons. Hope the app is updated soon.

The 2-rating refers to the app, not the content. MLJ's sermons are over-the-top outstanding. The app, however, suffers from frequent crashes -- mainly when pausing and returning to listen. The app is still worth having since the ability to listen to Martin Lloyd-Jones preach far outweighs any inconvenience.
