There Is No Spoon
Garbage app, hard to navigate, unintuitive and it doesn't have anything more than the regular website. I downloaded this for the broadcast Storm Team weather forecast that they took it off the regular website and it's not even here as promised. It's amazing how badly these local networks run their business. WSYR 9 weather is a perfect example of why local news has failed and is all but dead.

It's a little frustrating that the humidimeter isn't a part of the weather app. You have to go to the news app to find it. Sometimes the live weather reporting isn't updated.

Good app and pretty accurate. However since a recent update, none of the widgets work anymore on my Motorola Edge phone. Fix the issue with the widgets and I'll go back to giving it 5 stars!

The Weather App gives one forecast highs and lows. WSYR 9 TV gives a different forecast highs and lows. Not a fan.

The new version of the app has way too many ads. It is difficult to even find weather information because it is hidden between so many ads. Also, when you click a tile to go to a new section, you add redirected to the website rather than staying within the app. Navigating between sections is clunky and takes a long time (because you have to wait for the app to reload entirely). I am looking forward to some major updates to this version of the app or I will be uninstalling it.

Watch channel 9 news and also have the app with me .it gives me all the alerts and weather warnings I need to know especially after this summer. ..thank you for the app

After using Accuweather app for years on BlackBerry, then The Weather Channel app on Android, but the WSYR LiveDoppler9 app wins over the other two apps mentioned! It's more accurate with forecasting precipitation, and has the latest televised forecast available to view for an in depth look at what's going on with Syracuse weather. Most of the area meteorologists are quite good at forecasting our unique weather, but seasoned veteran Jim Teske is probably the best around IMO!
