I wanted to buy the limited time offer, but kept getting an error, which is unfortunate because this looked promising. However it kept promoting me to but the yearly price, in effect not honoring the $17.00 limited time offer. This is not a free app. You are prompted with ads but then keeps bringing up the payment page for a yearly subscription. There's no way to try this before buying, best to avoid this app, particularly if you're not even able to try it out first.

DON'T throw your $18 away! Every rock I've taken a picture of I have gotten bogus results. This app is a scam. It will give you 4 results on the same rock all completely different looking, how is that possible. I've since downloaded a free app that works amazing.

Downloaded app only to find out the developer wants you to pay monthly for their service. If the developer would have disclosed this information upfront I wouldn't have wasted my time. The developers should be required to inform consumers if it is a subscription service or if there is a cost to use their app. I wouldn't have downloaded unknown files to my phone potentially compromising my personal info if I knew I would have to sign up for a monthly subscription. BAD BUSINESS

It doesn't work. I put the camera on a peice of gold and it gave me 3 options, all not gold. So again, this time I tried to scan a diamond and it came up something totally different. Not a good app. I just got charged $26 and now there isn't even a option to cancel. Not good. Recommendation folks: Don't purcahse this app because it simply doesn't work.

If i could give a decimal point or fraction of a star i would i can hire a geologist cheaper for what i need than i can get with the paid version and the free one goes subscribe page, to advert page, to try to identify a stone page, to advert page, back to subscribe page, then back to yet another ad,so on and so on and thats all it does, ive got one lousy chrystal i forgot the name of and i cant find the right one easily yet so i thought this app maybeee????.... But nope no happeni

Never even had a chance to use it. Once installed and you take your picture it takes you to a screen to choose your option,select free trial or sign up. This app apparently is not free. Wouldn't even identify the rock.

Rubbish. Doesn't let you take a pic or choose a photo from gallery with out you signing up for premium. Whenever you click "continue limited version",it brings you back to home page.

Error message for trial, so I took the sale. What a joke! I have not had one, not one accurate match, even on a color! Would love to include a screenshot and pic of one of the stones. Everyone would get a good laugh. Oh, and don't even try the bogus website....
