The most important thing is that they do the Bible reading well! The dramatized reading has great instrumentals and they sound urban, like guys from my neighborhood, making it feel more relatable when I listen. On top of that, there are teaching clips, videos and music! All around great content.

I love the app. And I'd give it four stars, except it is not a smooth app to use. The books won't play straight through. I have to open the app and manually move to the next chapter. I tried messing with my settings (on Android) by allowing all permissions, but same problem. Please fix it.

I love this app 🙏🏾 I've shared it with everyone I know. The instrumental music is great, and the voice-over artists are very soothing with their delivery. I would recommend it, especially to those who are just getting into reading the Bible. I believe the audio is the New Living Translation, which I think is a great translation. Some of the features I love the most are the background music and the Read Along feature (where you can choose your preferred translation). There's other content, too

What a great way to listen to God's Word! I've tried to listen to audio Bibles before and found them boring or strange. The rhythmic reading and background music really keep me engaged and wanting more. I work with teens at church and am recommending this to everybody. I've replaced a lot of podcast listening with Streetlight Bible and i love getting more of God's Word into my daily life.

I really wanted to love this app. But I cannot. My issue is the music. It is far too loud! The music drowns out the Bible narration! l could barely hear a word of what was being said. I like the concept. However, the presentation is all wrong. The focus seems to be on music and not on the word God. For this reason I can only give this app a 2 star rating. If you could lower the music and raise the narration, l would give a better rating. As l said, concept great. Presentation needs work.

11/29/2020 Update: FREEZE BUG/ISSUE STILL UNRESOLVED on Android 11. Streetlights App will suddenly stop playing mid or 3/4 the way though the audio Bible chapters. Please fix ASAP!!!!!! I really like the heart of this app. I do, however, feel the background music is actually TOO loud, I keep turning the volume up to hear the words and the music just get louder. If the developers could fix this, or add a way to adjust the background music, I'd love this even more!

Street lights is a great app, but they did a big update/overhaul and it hasn't worked right ever since. Not on mine (Android) or my wife's (iOS) phones. They tried to do too much with this new one. The Bible won't continually play, if you press play on the next chapter it's not actually the next chapter and it'll start 2 minutes later playing the correct chapter over the other one. Nothing helps, keeping the AP open, making sure to be on WiFi, Nothing. Love it; please fix the problems.

Wonderful Audio Bible! The music is easy to vibe to and the word is very easy to understand. It's a great addition to anyone who enjoys studying the word. The music rhythm makes it great to listen while cleaning, working out, or on a drive. I really appreciate that it is free, and in English and Spanish. I have had NO crashing on my Google pixel phone.
