Just bought this... not overly impressed. Only 4 basic uninspiring widgets with no options for customisation. I've a free app called Sunrise Sunset Widget that does a better job. *** UPDATE *** The setting do allow you to change the appearence of the widgets but not the content. The widgets could contain more info in a small space e.g. sunrise/sunset/hours of daylight left etc in a 1x1.

The app works great and does everything I want it to do, and I like that it's simple. However, like others have said, the font size is smaller than ideal. There is plenty of space in the widget frame but the font only uses a small portion of it. It's only readable to my naked eye if I use a 2x1 icon size, and that's a waste of home screen space. I really think the developer should prioritize making the font size larger. That is the only reason I didn't buy the premium/upgrade. Otherwise perfect.

Nice app. Clear view. There are several options of showing sunrise-sunset in the paid version. In the unpaid version you see only the sunset time during the day and the sunrise time during night. You can change color and transparency in both versions. Definitely the paid version. Fast and helpful communication with the developer. Thanks!

Could be better. I have just bought this. I was expecting it to be much more flexible in terms of layout. The widgets are fine on their original size. Of you want to resize them they will just keep they initially shape. For example there is no way to make rise/set widget vertical. Also the one with the countdown and times is unnecessarily big. You cannot make it smaller than 2x2.

Works very well. Just needs a few minutes to start up :) edit: those new premium features are something I didn't know I wanted till i got it. The old widget was good, but the knew one is just great. Detailed timestamps coupled with a nice aesthetic and a transparent background blend in really nicely on my homescreen. I would give extra stars if I still could give more!

Many 1 star reviews, I dont understand why, great app! Its harder than it should be to find a simple sunrise/set widget that doesnt take up much space, only shows todays info and can auto update based on location. This does all that. i happily bought the upgrade for the nicer widgets & feel they are worth it. If i would like to see anything added i would say adding am/pm to the time when 24 hour time is off and the ability to use civil sunrise/set. This basically shows you first/last light.

Here are two suggestions for improvement. First, the font is way too small, since it will mainly be used outside in bright sunlight. Second, for the amount of real estate it's taking up you could add a little current-time readout on the widget and then the user could find out the sunset time or sunrise time by tapping on the widget.

Impossible to add one of these free widgets to screen because an ad for their premium widgets pops up and the only option is to buy them. Using the phone's back button removes the popup ad but also prevents the widget from installing on the screen. Revised: apparently only 1 of the 4 widgets installed by this app is free. Nowhere does it explicitly state this. The free widget only displays sunset or sunrise time. There are less resource-intensive ways of displaying this. I uninstalled.
