I used this app for a while, and on my iPhone it was fine, it served ads but they were not intrusive. Now on my Google Pixel every time I open the app I have to watch a timed ad before I can use the app, and the ads are using deceptive fake "X's" to trick you into clicking on the links. I use this app to do frequent checks on sound levels for a conference system on a weekly basis, it has been frustrating from the amount and frequency of ads, and the cost of the ad free subscription is too much.

Needs to be more useful. You have to be actively watching to see how loud something is. There should be a line graph that shows noise. Level over a period of time so I can use the app to see how loud my party was throughout the night and such. If you shot a gun the app would only tell you how loud momentary you can't review the history to check. This app needs more features like that. A sound level alarm for if your too loud at the library, lots of stuff it could do is missing

I was a frequent user of this perfectly functional app that came with limited ads. Sadly it is now totally unuseable due to far more aggressive unskippable ads. Even after the ads stop playing its really difficult to close the screen without clicking on a link to yet another advertising site. Uninstalled.

Great app, use it to monitor music levels from my stereo, 85 dba is the recommended maximum continuous level, so I keep the average at around 80 dba, and now my ears have adjusted. Helps to have the Base EQ on with my Proton D540 amplifier at those levels, but my NAD 317 amplifier (waiting for repairs) does not have, or need, Base EQ at those levels.

It's free and it works! No scam of "temporary" trial demanding registration & crefit info. You test if the public place is safe so you can escape. I love it!!! It says if it's a restaurant or a busy street. When the cozy café started to feel like being chased on an autoroute, the app confirmed that I wasn't the crazy one. Who need an amplificator to sing in a café as small as a tiny bedroom! Then people wonder why they feel anxiety. Stop listening to screams, that's not music, it'a assault.

This app forced the install of the home screen app which wanted the ability to take over the home screen settings from Google. Then on its own it installed a 3rd app which was a keyboard app. The home screen app asks for permission to monitor your other apps and share that info with 3rd parties. Incredibly intrusive especially with permissions required in the two additional apps. Why do we need to give control of the home screen and keyboard just to use the app? I've never had an app do this.

Don't install this app. A few days after downloading this app, my phone began opening suspicious websites by itself. I would unlock my phone and my internet browser would be open on a random web page I had never visited. (Advertisements for products, programs, fake virus warnings requesting me to click a link, etc.) After uninstalling this app and wiping the browser's data and cache, the problem hasn't returned. But I'm pretty sure this app installed malware on my device. Please don't download.

Found it to be quite inaccurate. Used it at a festival, was reporting the db at around 90 where it was actually closer to 120. Worked from the get go with no ads and has some great free features though, so maybe it was my set up or phone that was the issue.
