Working as expected. It looks like they've fixed their email verification process, received email OK. My 4 SP9's seem to be working fine and connected to Google Home. Monitoring seems to be accurate and working well after 2 days so far. Few months later, stopped recording usage properly. It demands precise location so I'm replacing SP9's and uninstalling this app.

Terrible! ...Upon downloading this app it launches a privacy policy that's all in Mandarin characters - with 2 choices to proceed, both also in Mandarin! There's no way to bypass this or try to change language. Worse app ever - I couldn't even use it to test it. Developers: English as default language if you want to continue in the Australian market please.

Very frustrating to set up, as a lot of these reviews you can find the device but the app will not find your local Wi-Fi. I found if you run any type of VPN software on your mobile this VPN software has to be completely UNISTALLED first, restart your phone and the Tenda app will work fine. You can reinstall your VPN software after and the functionality of the app works fine. If you need to add another device at a later date then you still have to remove the VPN.

Absolutely awful experience. I've bought an SP9 smart plug with built-in energy monitor and have to create an account in order to use the app, in order to configure the plug. You'd think any issues would appear during configuration or later on, but no... I can't even create an account, as no verification email is sent. I've checked all folders, including spam, and tried multiple email addresses. If they can't even get that very basic, first step right then what hope is there for the product?

Faulty App. Faulty Energy Monitoring On App Since July!! I bought 2 plugs, SPV9, for the energy monitoring and they were working fine but since July the app stopped displaying usage on the chart, which is of absolutely NO use to me. I’m hoping that its just a firmware glitch and will be fixed soon but it’s been over a month now. Plug works fine but App not giving the advertised service.

App installed fine, created account fine, connected device to home hub fine, gave it a name, and icon hit save in app and nothing happens. App says no device exists, yet when checking network the device is on the network. Tried several times, other half tried with his phone same issue. App just couldn't see device, so device effectively useless, sending back for refund.

It does all I need it to do and more. Can set it on a schedule, away mode (randomly on and off acting like someone is home), timer, and control it with Alexa. With Alex I have it set to turn on the front porch, living room, hall, and bedroom light switches to come on when we get home, and ensure they are all off after we leave. If we arrive from the back porch it turns on the back porch, laundry room, kitchen, dining room, hall, and bedroom light switches, and ensures they are all off...

Got a few of their smart plugs. Work great as smart plugs, but if you need to schedule, either use Google home, or be prepared to change time zones each 6 months, as they don't account for BST/GMT Update. Downgraded one more star as their own app now doesn't turn devices on. Google integration still works flawlessly
