The app won't scan the passport regardless of how long you hold the camera still for, eliminate glares on the passport, etc. It is an e-passport so why can't they just take a photo of the passport to match it against the data they'll receive when the chip is scanned? And nothing pulls up when I click on guide/ help information. This app could potentially be useful, if it worked...

pure madness to scan the ncf. Don't put your phone over the entire passport as shown. Move it around, the chip should be near the hologram photo. Facial recognition is a pain too. When it asked to close your eyes for a while, make sure it's a LONG while.

The face recognition is not working after 30 times of trying.

The app is very frustrating to navigate with constant error dropping you out of the app, forcing you to restart the procedures. My country's passport page has been designed with reflective properties as security measure so the auto scanning function never works unless I scan in very specific lighting! Not worth the frustration to skip queues.

Tried a few times to scan my passport... you need to scan the overview as per instructed, then zoom in (shift your phone forward slowly) towards the center, ensuring half photo and halg hologram on the left and right. There will be a red box blinking and it's captured... hope this will help... all the best to those registering.

Is frustrating trying many times to scan but one helpful review from Zac Fang has helped me a lot. Do the overview scan as normal and slowly move the camera towards the photo with halogram where a red box appears over the photo. Hold for a while and the passport scan will be captured. Next step is the chip scan using NFC. That's less challenging but can be frustrating too. Move phone over closed passport slowly and it will be captured.

If I could give this app a zero I would. Like so many Korean apps it is frigging useless. I have a brand new phone and passport and the nfc registration is never recognized. fix this app plz. The first step for scanning passport failed to recognize no matter which direction, lighting, angle. Can't carry on to the next steps, completely useless. Poorly design means a failure app.
