This app used to be amazing when it first came out. It appears that now they're on recovery of losses or profit-seeking. They've introduced new fees three different types of them. If you're not paying close attention to every transaction they're basically robbing you. I had an issue multiple times which eventually they refunded me. But the issue has not been fixed because my two latest transactions still show the same issue. You get billed for fees that should not be billed.

It was a good model before they completely changed everything. The took away rewards and cash back, increased prices from 25¢ to 43¢ per kWh, changed the free charging day from 'all-day' to 'one charge'. I understand business models have to evolve to be sustainable... the elephant in the room is: Their original model was obviously so far off from actually being realistic, that I question the company leadership. Also their change management and comms are very poor.

Was great at $0.30/kWh, and previously, I would recommend this to anyone. But, I recently discovered there is now also a TAX to the new rate of $0.43/kWh... at roughly 10.8% (this is not even the correct tax for my area)!! That's effectively $0.47/kWh, which is, on average, MORE expensive than Tesla supercharging. The old flat rate never had a tax either, and this was not disclosed in any new communication. Overall, I'm really disappointed with the costs now and the lack of transparency.

Constantly changing their transfer limits. Now they're completely getting rid of their debit card side of the app. They also won't honor their rewards system and didn't provide a notice for the change (via the app or email). This was all an elaborate setup to obtain a user base, strip away away the key functionality of the app, and leave behind only the charging wallet. I get it, but I'll miss what it used to be. So long, BlueDot. ✌️

The app does update slowly very very rarely. Usually the info loads quickly. Occasionally, charger status is incorrect, but usually everything is accurate. There is a wait for customer support, 15-30 minutes in my experience. The only frustrating detriment using the app is when the charger doesn't start or cuts out after a minute and the app doesn't get the message. Then I'm locked out for an hour. There's no way to stop the session from the app.

Just lost a customer with these price jumps coming September unfortunately. Literally a month or so ago I was paying 0.25/kw and now you want me to pay 0.43kw!! That's a huge jump and unsustainable! It was great until they ended their loyalty program (boost) and were sneaky about it too. Not even letting us know until it was too late. Had to go into the FAQ to even know the dates were gonna go back up. Hopefully they fix these issues and it'll be a 5 star app again

Was good, but over time it's become a headache. Glitchy to activate chargers. They Keep moving goal posts. Used to have a debit card feature, they discontinued it. Less than a month so they effectively erased the points I had towards rewards. Now it's no longer cheaper to use than Tesla super chargers and evgo/charge point network is glitchy or chargers are often out of order. I'm out. Time to close the account

It was cool to have a card for charging that could get rewards points back, but now they've taken away this ability. Even though I mostly used super chargers, it was still nice to get some cash back for it. They're also raising the prices so it's not really worth using them since they were touting universal .30/kw at supported stations. Now they're just as much as a regular fast charger with no real incentives, so I'll use what I'm left over on my account then I'm done using the service.
