The 2018 Banff Seminar Planning Committee is excited to welcome you to the 44th Annual CSHP Western Branches Banff Seminar, happening in beautiful Banff, Alberta on March 16th-18th, 2018! The conference is a three day educational event geared toward pharmacy professionals, featuring a diverse array of speakers and topics.

Our conference theme is “#CSHPBanff: Pharmacy in the Inform@tion Age”. Modern technology allows us to stay more connected and gives us seemingly endless access to health information. This year we’ve set out to explore how best to utilize technology to create opportunities for our delegates to learn and stay connected. We are excited to be launching this Conference App to help disseminate information and provide a platform for delegates to network with one another!

This app will allow delegates to:
- view their schedule
- see speakers and sponsors
- access speaker slides
- connect to our social media pages
- network with other attendees
- and more!

For the 2018 conference, we are planning an event that boasts an excellent educational program, as well as providing time to relax and socialize with peers. Friday afternoon will feature a plenary session with a moderated discussion, engaging all delegates in discussing conflicts of interest in our daily practice. This will be followed by our Friday evening social event, where we invite you to break out your 90’s workout gear and matching track suits in honor of our keynote speakers – Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod! Our Saturday program will be extended this year, which will allow us to host facilitated posters sessions for the first time at the Banff Seminar! This will be followed by the banquet on Saturday evening and a shorter Sunday program.
