Notifications are unnecessarily intrusive and unintuitive (take up the whole screen and have a tiny close button that won't work half the time), why is there no option to toggle specific notifications? Why does it mandatorally ask for pre-approval and then asks for entry permission again? UX is terrible. Half the time the buttons will bug out and won't register clicks, especially when the phone's in sleep and then it won't let me unlock my phone. Will change the rating if I see improvement.

Its an Adware disguised as app. Half the features don't work. They are using Android notification mechanism for ads which is wrong implementation. This shows that they haven't thought through the product. They say its ad supported business model but its way too intrusive & the whole UX is compromised because of their ad philosophy of showing ads everywhere & minimize the functionality. I have blocked notifications & wait for the voice call now to avoid the ad spam. Evaluating alternatives now.

I initially had trouble registering with my US phone number. They had also confirmed that the app wouldn't register the owners using international phone numbers. But they provided a work around and I was able to register using my US phone number. Their customer service is great! My experience with this app after I successfully registered has been excellent. I can communicate with the security guards from anywhere in the world. It's a great service and I recommend it to everyone.

For always-on notifications, app checks various settings and parameters such as network, etc. In that check, when it comes to battery usage and optimization check, it fails to look at appropriate place because even though I have enabled background usage, it's not picking up that setting and always asks to disable optimization with screenshots from older android version. Atleast in Android 14, there is no setting as shown in the example images. Please rectify the issue.

Reasonably functional but ad-infested app. Not only double dipping - even if the apartment is on a paid version of MyGate, the app installed on phone is shown as the "free" version and requires payment to make it "ad free", it also spams with ads on the notification bar, with no way to turn off without losing key notification functionality.

Though the app is good, charges for making payments through credit card are very high. To make matters worse, they don't integrate app with other apps like cred. Not much offers as well like discounts. This app is becoming monopoly in their space and hence their unwillingness to change

The ideology behind the app is great for functioning societies but app is somewhat divergent from its main purpose 1. Haptic feedback is not essential. 2. Why must a phone number be required to add family members? It feels like a method to collect data unnecessarily. 3. There should be an option to turn off promotional notifications.

Irritating push notification ads, with no way to disable without losing core functionality, i.e. gate notifications. Anyways the entire app is infested with ads, but this feature takes it to a new low. 🤦
