A Google user
App works ok. Rocker controls are iffy at best. DIY control still works well. I like the option of switching between obstacle, line following, and controller mode.. That's a big improvement. However, I would still like the terminal screen. That was a nice teaching too and I don't see it in the new version.

I wish this app was more generalized. Its kind of a toy. I couldn't even get it going with the car I just built. Not denying user error. Like I have ideas and I could go on and on and on but it needs more basic functionality rather than absolutely everything setup for you. I didn't learn much cuz everything was already done for me.

The app does connect just not via the Bluetooth tab on your phone. Simply select the Bluetooth icon on the app itself, leave the bot right beside the phone and wait, when the screen reverts to a remote control symbol click that and your in, it doesn't actually say it's connected but it is. Good little bot, the build is not for kids though, very small intricate screws and nuts

Works well on my main device, but I got the (penguin) robot for my son, and after installing this on one of my older devices I planned to let him use (HTC Axon 7 running android 6) the app loads but doesn't show any results in the Bluetooth list, so I'm unable to connect with that older device. EDIT: Reducing to 2 stars because it has the same issue on a much more modern tablet running Android 10 (a Blackview Tab 9). No bt devices visible, can't connect. Please fix this!

I'm pretty amazed how you can make your own remote control car, and even better it comes with a camera. (Not sure exactly) and that the wifi you use for the cars only works for the camera, not your browsing software. 😀

Josh Green was right, this app is like the stickin Confucius Institute's tracker, Bluetooth does not require location, but the app does not work with the bot unless location is able to be used by the app, even if the location is not on. That is very sus, & it is too risky to keep with China trying to infiltrate the whole world right now. Also, your app doesn't even have a legal terms & services acceptance loadup or notification loadup for the services of the app. Promisesdon'tcutit,Legalitydoes.

What is the point of this app? I have a mega kit and program it because my windows laptop is currently broken, so i saw there was a app for my elegoo, i was excited. but when i found out i couldn't do anything but watch videos and read the manual, which is already apart of the kit, i was pissed. i would give this app zero stars if it was possible.

Useful, however it lags my samsung s6 to hell and it doesn't even work properly I have to use a tablet seperately just to use this application. However it is still generally useful for more simple programming from a "mobile device"
