Log in screen doesn't behave as expected. After days of emails I learned this app doesn't support OS versions older than Android 11 at this point. If this app was properly listed in the Play Store with that info it wouldn't have shown up in my choices, or wouldn't have allowed me to DL. I despise developer laziness but based on AB Blue Cross' nature why expect anything else.

I like this app. It's easy and quick to use and has all the same functions that the website does. The only thing that could be improved would be the ability to open statements in PDF to save or screenshot them to submit to my other provider. The app keeps telling me I have no PDF readers installed, but I have several (Adobe, Microsoft365, Google Drive + a few other system apps). I have to go to ab.bluecross.ca to do this and it's just inconvenient.

Alberta Blue Cross Members App is a great app to use. With this it eliminates 98% to all paper needed for filing claims or other resources, making it much more environmentally friendly. It is easy and simple to use, the help, tips and info they have lead you through or to what you need and everything is now, mostly all in one place. Love being able to not only complete everything within the app, but submit directly, check the status and upload documentation if or where needed. Great app!

Well blue cross Dev. I can tell you that it is not a blackberry issue but more likely a physical keyboard issue with your app. My wife is a blackberry key2 and I use a unihertz titan both android os are up-to-date and both have physical keyboards. Neither device will allow data entry t log into accounts. Also worth noting we can log in online through a web browser. Made figure it out before live bata testing such a change during a global pandemic. Lame!

Looks great, functionality not so much. I like the functions they're adding to Balance but it's not translating very well onto the app version as on desktop and I use the app most. They've done a revamp of the Balance site with features I love - when it works. As it is it's hard for my phone to load without super data access, which is hard to get in rural Alberta. I'm more of a less fancy, more function kind of person.

Recently it has been super glitchy (yes it is up to date). When accessing Old statements (less then 1 year old) it says that the service is unavailable. The app shuts down every single time I try to see what benefits are available to me. It also just gives me a loading screen for my health spending account. I'm sure that these will be fixed as the app use to work perfectly and made my life easy. Now not so much.

Fixed, but issues with the preview within the app. I now have the ability to download a pdf and view the file without issues like the desktop webpage. Cannot download or print claim reports from the app on an android a52 phone with all recent updates installed. When the download button is selected, error generated is that no app is installed. I have one installed.

They have updated the app and it is extremely Unuser-friendly. I have to call in every time to make a claim. It's very very frustrating. And they've changed the list of drugs they cover so be very careful. I'm so disappointed and discouraged with this app. However when u reach someone, their employees are super duper!
