Absolutely need to see the hourly use/history of the units. Every other reputable smart thermostat and hvac system has it these days.

Purchased the adaptor to control my C&H mini-split A/C. Downloaded the software and began setup. That's about as far as I got... Why does an A/C control app need access to my photos, microphone, camera? This doesn't make sense to me. Will likely return if after some research I don't find a compelling and reasonable excuse for these access requirements.

Seems to work well controlling my 12000 btu minisplit in our guest house via wifi; it seems to have all the functions that the physical remote has, and the user interface is fine. My only complaint is that only one phone can "own" the minisplit unit at any one time. After setting it up on my phone, I then set it up on my wife's phone, only to discover that my phone was no longer able to control it. (And my wife's phone could no longer control it when I reattached it to mine.)

Set up first unit and it worked OK. Some features weren't working but the temperature did, which was enough, so I bought 2 more adapters for my other units. Halfway through setup of the 2nd unit the setup would just hang and time out, over and over. I restarted my phone and the app has refused to open ever since. It just crashes immediately and opens gmail with the app customer service address entered. Sent an email last week, no reply. Expected better after spending $200 on wifi adapters.

Works, but flaky at times. Set to F°, but will sometimes show as C°. When clock changes due to DST, all the schedules wind up an hour off as it does not adjust them correctly and you have to go back and reset them all. Finally, APP does not exit, but keeps running, and you have to manually force it closed in app control. Otherwise, it works ok. Not as finished a product as some others I've seen, but it does the job.

The only issue is we want the fan to stay on even if the room is at the set temperature or not. My ideal situation would be to be in cool mode xxF and once the outside and room cool below xxF the fan keeps running until the room warms above xxF and the A/C unit starts running again. I love having the app, and the variable fan speed, and the auto clean. It cools our room very well. Thanks Richard Lee

I don't have much experience with Mini Splits this is my first installation. but I think this app does a lot and it seems to be fairly streamlined and I haven't struggled with it too much. there are a few things I think it should have but overall I'm happy with it

Update 5/16/23: schedules still fail to work nearly 100% of the time. Device constantly reflects as "offline" until you refresh. It is beyond frustrating that C&H cannot get this to work as advertised. After my original review 8/22, I have not received any contact or support from C&H. App is pretty poor and useless since critical functions don't work. Would be great if cs would reach out, if a cs department exists.
