It's a wonderful app. It would be nice if you could make it so that it would never go over a 16th when it comes to fraction results. For example, as an electrician I do a lot of conduit bending. We never use 32nds or 64ths of an inch. If you could make it so that it would give a result to the nearest 16th of an inch that would be even more wonderful.

Excellent GUI design for entering fractions. Good sized buttons for entry and clear easy-to-read output window. I would like the addition of a 'repeat operation' key or function that uses the current output and repeats the operator and the second operand for a new output. This would be useful for things like calculating shelf heights in a series for a bookshelf. I don't see much use for the 'check' button; really I trust the app can do the math. Calculation history I now see is available by tapping the output window; I would not have learned that from the Help

A Google user

If you're just wanting to calculate fractions, this is a good app for doing so. Enough so that I purchased the 'ad-free' version. This version has no advertisement splash screens, or and banner ads. However, there are ads for the developer's other apps in the settings menu. I feel this is unfair to the consumer- I paid for ad-free and I expect ad-free. This is not enough of an issue for me to drop my rating, but it's enough of an issue for me to mention.

Very easy to use. You enter the whole number on the vertical number pad on the left, enter the top number of the fraction on the top right and the bottom number of the fraction on the bottom right. Just like you would do if you were writing it out. Most other fraction calculators I have used just had the one number pad, then I had to go through some sequence that I couldn't remember because I only need it 2-3 times a year and I would forget how to do it. I won't have that problem with this app.

I love it! You can customize from currently 4 themes, classics or modern. The fractions are easy to input. Although its called "fraction cauculator," it is allowed to jut do whole numbers and a decimal is allowed, even with fractions. This saved me from the stress of quaddruple checking all the time and it can even show you how they got the awnser. It's the best after all the updates which were badly needed, so you should download! 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀 What do the memory buttons do?

Update*** I noticed that there is now a widget for the standard Calculator Pro. Are there plans to produce a widget for Fractions Pro because that would be awesome???*** Working in the softwood lumber industry I deal with fractions ALL. THE. TIME. This calculator has made my work easier and faster. It's actually on my first page of apps.

Great example of: "thinking outside the box". The logical, and efficient, way to calculate with fractions. There is no physical calculator that has a key layout like this. If you routinely work with fractions, this is a must have app.
