Have been using it for many years. Now on Pixel 5. For the last few months keeps hanging (does not respond to 'back' gesture) requiring app restart. Similarly, links open on blank pages which remain blank until App is restarted. Seems underlying browser software is old and/or buggy. No such phenomena seen using Chrome or Firefox.

Embarrassing. Horrible UI. Endless bugs. Get your act together, Haaretz. Update 9/17/24: Still the worst app on my phone. By far. The content is great. The software is an atrocity. Whoever is responsible for this embarrassment should retire and go bury their head in the sand.

Besides having access to all the articles and news items in the printed edition, I get relevant updates all day long.

UPDATE: FIXED! There are many bugs lately in the app. Some example: 1. Search is broken. For a while, it didn't order the results by date. 2. When I go back from an article, I automatically jump back to the top of the main page. It makes reading multiple articles very annoying, and I've been using the app less because of it.

The recently updated version is way too scroll sensitive. When reading an article and scrolling down, I'm being moved to right and left articles unintentionally without having scrolled right or left

Most articles "warp" such that half the page turns black and the article turns unreadable. I contacted the app tech-support six months ago and was told that they are aware of the glitch and working to fix it. Since then the frequency of this error only increased so obviously they are not doing anything about it.

App sucks! 1) Even though I paid for my account I still get ads when I open the app, why??? Why on earth should I see ads in the app I paid subscription to?! 2) I'm being sent links via WhatsApp and although the app is set to open those links by default, my browser (google chrome) opens those links everytime!
