This app is horrible. It won't connect most of the time. Sometimes it does connect, but then doesn't work. It also turns on my media player even though I have that selection turned off.

Car Stereo Outlet in Houston, Tx installed my deck on my 2000 Dodge Durango. I went back complaining that I should have had a remote to come with it. The nice lady inside advised me to install the Kenwood remote S It didn't work, I had the same experience as most on here. Showing disconnected. But I tried a few more things such as deleting the app, installed another version, still didn't work. Re installed the Kenwood S and wow. It works. Full control of all the preloaded apps on the stereo.

My phone connects to the kenwood radio and it pairs successfully, then i bring up the app and it keeps saying disconnected. On the radio i switched from ios to android but tge app does not connect. i can however play music from my phone to the radio. It's a shame controlling it does not work. My phone is a OnePlus 5T.

no button to connect, install, uninstall, over and over again. videos manual etc etc. Just doesn't do anything. Not connected. I have noticed stereo has no devices in the remote settings but phone is bt connected no problem

As others have said, it can't connect to the Kenwood stereo. It appears to do nothing. Even if it could, it has greatly reduced capability compared to the old Kenwood Remote App. What happened to that one? Bring it back!

You've got to be kidding?! 500 letters to explain how I can't get past the millisecond the app opens it crashes. You can tell you're a successful company because the very little things that piss off the very small percentage of customers aren't a big enough issue for a busy company to be bothered with. Besides, obviously they've already bought the merchandise so why bother yourselves with the inconvenience of customer care after the fact! Correcting an app is the least you could for "customers "

Will no longer support Kenwood Worse remote app ever. Does not connect to ANY Kenwood receiver. No options or settings. Doesn't tell you what you're supposed to do. I can't believe Kenwood put their name on this pile.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Head units no longer come with an actual remote and instead force you to download... wait for it, an app that doesn't work. So, Kenwood, a leader in entertainment electronics can't get an entertainment electronic app to work. Am I following this correctly? What, did you let the intern develop it?
