As users of Lumin U1 Mini know well, it is an expensive network streamer. It has no user controls whatsoever depending on this app for all settings and music playback controls. Very unfortunately this app does not reflect the hardware quality and price. It looks and performs like a poor cousin to other streaming apps like Spotify or Tidal. Granted they are not exactly apples to apples. UI is important but it's something one can get used to. IF and this is a big IF, the app does not have bugs or runs slow or exhibits weird behaviors. So, only realistic option is to use Spotify via its Connect feature. No such luck with either Tidal or Qobuz. If anyone has figured out other options, please enlighten. Thanks, I need help.

The Lumin app works well with my iPad but is very flaky with my Samsung s21. Most of the time the device doesn't appear in the app, even though both iPad and the phone are on the same network. Sent several emails to support and they haven't fixed this issue so far. Very frustrating. Please fix the issue with Android devices Edited Jun 27th. The new release is great. It addresses all my concerns in the previous version. Thanks for fixing all the issues.

This may one of the worst apps i have ever used. I bought the Lumin T2 ($4500) and i barely listen to it because this app is sooo bad. It freezes, closes, is unintuitive and unattractive. I try to use it with Qobuz mostly so i getvthe best audio quality. I wish it would allow the Qobuz app to be used as the interface instead of having to use this app, which it does with spotify, but spotify has lower audio quality. I think there needs to be a entire overhaul of this app! So disappointed!

Intuitive and stable app which I use with a U1 Mini and Pixel 7. Based on my own experience using the app for several months now, I'm surprised by the number of bad reviews. I previously used a Bluesound device and was expecting to miss the admittedly smooth interface, but it's really not the case.

The Droid

Works ok with Lumin T2. Needs setup page, Web/IP address interface, as another option for setup. Works well with Plex on NAS👍🏽. Streams flawlessly over the net or home NAS connected network over WiFi. Front end & navigation needs lots of work👎🏼. I've started using BubbleUPnP app for LuminT2, much better/smoother interface for your stored music files.

I have been extremely happy with my LUMIN D1 since 2017. I use the android version of the app. After upgrading to 2.04 all images in my USB music library cannot be displayed, making it very difficult to search my favorites. My obsolete phone has versión 1.10 dated 2017-09-21 still can operate my LUMIN D1 and display the images. Is it a bug in version 2.04? Or a bug in my current 6 month old android phone which has worked perfectly before?

Spotify is the benchmark by which i rate this app. The Android Lumin App is unfortunatly way way behind. Basic tasks like creating a play list is difficult to say the least, marking a song as favorite almost impossible. It is not the kind of experience you expect from the 4000 euro streamer. The Lumin T2 is great the app needs a lot of work or just let qobuz ,tidal interface with the Lumin just like spotify. Hope this review helps.

Very unstable app. It keeps crashing and does not properly connect to streaming services, i.e. Tidal and Qobuz. For Tidal it only shows folder My Music and does not show other folders. For Qobuz, it just crashes. It used to work OK up until December, but now it is nothing but trouble!
