It's nicely designed and I'm sure it's great when it works, but unfortunately, as soon as I connect to the car (2023 982) wifi, the app closes. If I try to run it again, it closes immediately. Once I disconnect from the WiFi, and go back to my own wifi that has Internet access, then the app opens. Motorola edge 2022. I wish there were logs I could send out.

Ok I'm going to give this a 3 star because the developers are at least trying to make this work with the new update to sort stability issues. I won't really be able to test this until next year, but great to know that it's not been abandoned. Fingers crossed it just works like it should!

08/15/24 Was able to use the app to record sessions and videos for a whole weekend. Was able to export the video from my phone. My only major complaints with the app at this point is that interruptions like low fuel will ruin recording for the session and it doesn't seem to support Android auto on the PCCM screen which would be really help.

Has such great potential, but is ruined by instability. Deletes videos and recordings without warning. Crashes constantly, and logs out of the community features. Avoid, it's a waste of time until stability improves.

I have a gt2rs, with the sports Chrono package, worked perfectly before but the latest update makes it not functional... I've emailed and spoken with customer care but no resolution. The app just says "function not enabled". Pretty frustrating, fix this app. (01-21-20) update, working with the app developers now and making a bit of progress... Still not fixed but I expect they will sort it out and I will update when they do. (07-03-20) seems to be working perfectly but yet to test on the track,

It seems Porsche can't hold a candle to a Chevy Camaro when it comes to track data recorder applications. As much as I love the GT4, this $2000 option on the car should be free since it's useless without a functioing back end app. It continually crashes, won't reliably or consistently create data analysis as advertised particular in real time between sessions when it's useful, video that occasionally works, occasionally doesn't, intermittently connects or makes you reconnect to the car, will or won't let you enter a guest driver, etc. You name it, it's buggy everywhere. The option should be free with vehicle until this app can be sorted out. As advertised, and when you can get anything to work, it's what you would hope for from an OEM integrated app but it never just comes through like the car it supports. You're far better off with an AIM Solo or any of the other app based lap timers, but they won't tell you that. Running on a Google Pixel 5, as clean as you get for an android OS.

It used to work well recording my Autocross runs in my GT4 and using my Samsung S7. Then tried to use it last weekend and it would crash while connected to the car. Update: The crash is fixed, but it now has the following problems: 1. when creating a new track that has a different start and finish, it doesn't seem to allow me to set the finish. 🙁 2. It claims I don't have space for a video, though I have 2GB free. FAQ says I need to increase a memory in the video setting that does not exists.

New GT3RS owner looking forward to use this App on Samsung S8+. Wifi coupled to GT3RS and then the App will no longer stay open. It immediately crashes. If not linked to GT3RS App will stay open. APP is a good concept hopefully you can get it working. Update well months later it finally worked for me in all aspects. It's a great concept but many of my fellow users still complain at the track about it. I will continue to test it and report back.
