DO NOT USE FOR BUYING TICKETS - about 50% of the time the ticket does not work and you are forced to pay for a second ticket at the station. It is obvious that a minimum of testing is done on this app as the Traveler conditions have not been updated. They still state that the electronic tickets are not valid for travel and that you have to print a ticket at the station. That is no longer true!

It is official and works but is Public money used to pay for bad quality software works/companies. Not very professional stop working when the app is not updated.

Since update, app no longer opens. Even before then it was a terrible app. Often won't give train times, just "unable to help right now". Major design fail - digital tickets that need a net connection to open them every time (no use at underground stations). Why not download it to the phone? (luckily scanning a screen capture works). Also only 2 or 3 tickets gates in each station have scanners for the QR code with big queues and half the time they don't work. Why not use a contactless system?

Search function doesn't work. Shows the trains an hour after the current time.

Please make sure the timetables are actually correct!! It's the only function of this app. Today we planned to take the train at 11.30 (as shown on the timetable) but we - and many others - arrived at the station to find the train had actually departed at 11.20. We all had to therefore wait 45 minutes for the next one. Ridiculous.(The times are also incorrect on the main website).

App will not open properly or keeps crashing, tried uninstall and reinstall but still no luck.

For some reason a lot of provinces are not show and it doesn't let me buy the government initiative for free MD travel "Abono Gratuito". I though maybe it's because the app is in English and it classifies me as a tourist but i couldn't find the option to change to spanish. I will have to go ask how to get it at the counter...

Worst ticket app ever. Buy a ticket at the station instead and save yourself a headache and massive levels of frustration. How this travesty is allowed to continue to exist in the store is beyond madness. It's as if renfe deliberately doesn't want you to use the app for anything else than looking up train times.
