◆ داستان
در گوشه و کنار جهان، داستان قهرمانان ما در شرف آشکار شدن است...
فصل 1: راگنار مک رایان و پرونده کودکان گمشده
با بازی راگنار مک رایان، شوالیه نجیب بانی برلند.
فصل 2: آلنا و سفر به تورنی
با بازی تسارونا آلنا، شاهزاده خانم پسر بچه، کریل کشیش، پیرو فداکار او، و بوریا، جادوگر پرخاشگر که از کودکی مراقب آلنا بوده است.
فصل 3: تورنکو و حفاری زیاد
با بازی Torneko Taloon، یک تاجر اسلحه که رویای همیشگی خود را دنبال می کند.
فصل چهارم: مینا و مایا و راز ماهابالا
با بازی یک جفت خواهر با استعداد - مایا، جذاب ترین رقصنده در کل جهان، و خواهر و برادر فالگیرش مینا - که برای انتقام مرگ پدرشان دست از سر هیچ کاری بر نمی دارند.

This game is superb in so many ways. If you're a fan of these old NES JRPG games you can't miss with this one. I do have a couple of big complaints though. Number one you cannot turn the volume off. You can turn the volume down to 1 but you will always hear the music. Also you can only quick save on the world map and not in dungeons. When playing on a mobile this is unacceptable. This is a direct port of the Nintendo DS version and they really did not do anything extra for the mobile version.

I'm not a huge fan of being able to rotate the camera but I got used to it quickly; my real issue arises whenever I try to appraise something with Torneko Taloon- the game freezes every time. I'm only on chapter 3 so, maybe it wont freeze when I try to appraise something in the final chapter? Still, VERY annoying, especially if this doesn't get fixed. Otherwise, good remake of a good classic.

I first played this game on the Nintendo DS years ago - and, as far as mobile ports go, this isn't bad at all. I often play this on my commute to and from work on my Samsung Galaxy and I've experienced no crashes or glitches with the port. My biggest gripe is the touch-screen controls - it can be awkward to control both in terms of movement and the games camera. It's definitely better suited to the DS's control pad. That said, it's better than having to buy a new DS to play the game

If the have could implement controller support, that would be nice. Otherwise, the touch controls are okay. DQ1 had nicer touch controls. Even better would be tap navigation and or full tap integration (tap a tile to walk to that tile, tap an NPC to talk to them, etc.. ) Aside from that, this is Dragon Quest 4 and is just as good as it's always been. Graphics are pretty, game runs fine.
Dimenscion (Zappy)
Probably the best RPG for the NES. If you missed out on 1990, this is the next best way to play it. This RPG has fantastic art direction, monster design, story, and music and has great controls for people to experience this adventure. The Party Chat feature which was omitted from the DS release brings the characters to life and really builds on the narrative. Spectacular time and a great introduction to RPGs for non-fans. It's well-paced and consistently fun and memorable throughout.

Love dragon quest and I'm really glad I can play these without needing to hunt down an overpriced copy for a gaming system, but I wish I could turn the sound completely off instead of just quiet. Kind of gets in the way when I try to listen to music or listen to videos/podcasts while I play. Not sure if that's a problem for anyone else, but it's kind of annoying. Otherwise, I love the way it looks and the way it controls!
A Google user
This is my first time playing any DQ, and I can safely recommend this version for beginners. Solid mobile port of a great game, and the way the story is structured makes it an excellent tutorial for turn based RPG gameplay in general. Controls work well, I just wish the Dpad recentered at the start of each motion like in most other modern mobile games. Still it is very admirable that SE keeps updating the game for compatibility with latest devices years after release.

I played through the whole game, plus Post-Game content. It's a fantastic story (one of the best in the series) with some of the most memorable characters in the series. It also fixes the botched lack of party speak that the DS failed to have, get this game as soon as you can. Hopefully, it'll get a Console and PC port alongside every DQ game in the series.
