It wont connect with the scanner. GPS must be on to connect to the device. - why? Activating device gives an error and there are no remedies or explanations offered. (I bought the thing on amazon) Supremely frustrating considering the price of the device. I've been using consistently for the last two weeks. Both pc and app versions of software and use of device itself is very buggy and inconsistent. I do hope for updates/fixes as the idea of such tool is great in itself

Needs rollers for smoother movement across the page. Needs a back/undo button because when you get an error it add paragraphs worth of jibberish to your document that you have to manually delete. Also it would be nice if if didn't add paragraphs worth of jibberish to the document when you get an error. It would also be not to get fewer errors.

I am updating my review from 1 to 4 stars. Here is why. While the initial connectivity issues made it useless and initial contact with support seemed pretty flimsy... I was assured an update would solve it. A few days later another email showed up from another support staff asking me to give it a try. It worked right away and the read rate is reasonable. I can paste consecutive scans of particular lines from articles or waybills into notes on my phone. I am quite satisfied with their efforts.

Bit disappointed that though it is Bluetooth connected, it does not work well with my tablet. The App keeps closing again and again. I was hoping to use the scanmaker pen in areas where one does not need WiFi and just scan notes in books for my research work. Is it possible to only use it on Bluetooth?

This app is the worst. Poor connectivity, I have to manually search for the pen in my Bluetooth setting Everytime I want to connect it. The app constantly crashes. Has limited sharing features, and makes using my scanmarker air (which is great via computer) not worth using.

Excellent, No Problems to Set Up Bluetooth for Samsung Galaxy S7 For Air pen to be discoverable by Mobile App (bluetooth) the Air pen must not be connected to micro USB Lead(supplied) or your phone will not pick up the signal. I set my connection on the PC first (easy and straight forward) download software (all instructions supplied by the company are accurate) and does not warrant the bad reviews on this app. while the Air pen was on battery charge in the mains I download the Android App.

Doesn't work to connect to scanner even though Bluetoosees device trying to connect asks for an Aop to connect with eventhough this App is searching and not able to find scanner therefore not connect up. Blue light on scanner was flashing on throughout this to no avail. Very disappointed. Apparently this up was updated just last month. It didn't work before either ! ! !

I love the acanmarker but please make the app be able to read more than just one paragraph. As a visually impaired person I got this so it is able to read to me. I think its pointless to using this app ig its not able to read me big amounts at a time
