Honestly, a very good and very fun game. My gripe? I got to the prem league, got top 3 twice, and next year I was 6th - 5 of my top players immediately left my team refusing contracts because they "want to be in a top 5 team" - which made me drop down to 9th the next season, and 3 more players left because my team wasn't good enough. And at that point my stadium size and training grounds were upgraded all the way which made me go bankrupt... One unlucky season ruined hours of building a team.

This is a good game. It's not too different from the first version, but does provide additional options which is nice. However, you still have no way to tell your manager to focus on a certain tournament, or emphasize the importance of winning a particular game. The ability to encourage the manager to focus on these would be a big improvement.

Decent game with some needed tweaks to the first version. I do have 2 suggestions 1) an operating budget/finance breakdown update without prize money/transfers. I find it hard to tell whether each week I am running at a loss or making a profit. Transfers and prizes are irrelevant if you can't see how the club runs outside that. 2) options to talk to managers/players to motivate them. Can't do anything until it's really last minute. Only criticism is each season is too predictable.

Some improvements over the first game but is FAR LESS rewarding. Additions of kits, shortlists, VAR are all good and help the game. Once you reach the top though it all changes. Managers stats always decline. My team CONSTANTLY chokes at the very end of seasons costing me everything because players leave. Nothing I do can help get them over the line. In hundreds of seasons I've never won the UCL and I've won the prem just twice. I was a God at the original game, this one has me burnt out. 3/5

Some good QoL improvements over the original - the improved interaction with the managers and the addition of the new European formats are great touches. The new FFP challenge is superb for late game players with billions in the bank. Would still have liked some more differentiation between players (nationalities and basic stats like tackling, shooting and passing for example) and the ability to switch between nations. TLDR - Get it if you liked the first.

I've invested many hours into this game and appreciate the improvements over the original. However, calling this a complete sequel feels like a stretch it's more like Football Chairman 1.5. There are positives, it is easy to dive in. I'm also finding this version more challenging, which keeps things interesting. One issue I have is with the Game Over screen. You need to start all over again just add a load option also would be good give targets to managers, ie focus on Europe qualification etc

Agree with previous comments that this is more of an incremental change than a whole new version, but the changes that have been made are worthwhile and welcome. Reason for 4 stars is the reliance on the red, orange, green colour system which is almost unusable for people with colourblindness. I would really appreciate a small update where a symbol is used in conjunction with the colour.

Really good, harder than the first game I think. You can succeed and make a profit but it takes time, it doesn't seem to be possible to become as dominant in the league as it was in the original without absolutely blowing the budget in the process. Only criticism would be with regard to managers, their rating seems to invariably drop which means you end up having to replace them often, even a top rated manager can only really be kept for about five years at most. Very enjoyable overall though.
