I love this app but lately it has stopped working. It brings up the logo before going to a black screen and copying gibberish text to the clipboard. edit: Update fixed it! thanks guys!

I find Water Bear to be an exciting platform for all kinds of issues of concern, as well as educational, heart warming, fun, freaky, etc. All kinds of enjoyable genres here. With short clips to hour long plus movies, documentaries, etc. It's enjoyable and I love it. I just wish it were compatible with my new Google Tv which is a Sony Bravia. Maybe you can work on that?

The idea behind the app is great and very welcome (especially at a sociopolitical time like now). Very good selection and UX. I'm sure the company will grow so will the catalog. There are some aspects like casting/tv app that need to change, but the main issue I find at this time is (lack of) accessibility. Not having good subtitles excludes people; you should at least have CC. I'm sure people wouldn't mind 30s ad at the beginning if it meant you could afford (non auto generated) subtitles.

Please, make a cast to tv functionality available. Thank you. (Edit) I downloaded this app to android tv.. the splash screen and login/register pages do not show in full screen, but in an annoyingly narrow, useless vertical strip. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WATCH DOCUMENTARIES ON THE TV? Is it for tiny phone screens only? I can't even cast from this app. This makes no sense.

This app is very good and Its content matches exactly to the description it claims to have..the only demerit I found is that it has no watch settings and the videos are automatically played in high resolution which consumes much data and this can be a problem for those who don't have Wi-Fi or are operating on a limited data connection..so it'll be far better if they have video quality section to minimise data loss so that we can watch more contents in a day..

I don't normally post reviews but this app is so moving I had no other choice. The potential for this platform could be incredible. Splendid concept. My only note would be that, by the 'Take action' option, there would be more than just the option to donate. This might be too ambitious, but if those respective organizations had events/volunteer work needed, it could be posted on the 'Take action' section. Would be a great idea to connect with the organizations.

One of the most pleasant surprises of recent years. A great selection of quality documentaries on a range of topics that matter. And all of it for free! What more do you want. People have brought up a few issues like the lack of subtitles and some technical issues, but I'm sure they will be sorted out as the company grows. Keep it up waterbear!
