Almost uninstalled this since the dictionary didn't match my Hasbro (U.S.) Scrabble Players' Dictionary. Then learned there are 2 official word lists (Int'l & US/Canada) and the app settings let you choose. Perfect, no frills app. Ads disabled by default with option to turn them on to support the app. I like the app so much I turned on ads and wrote this review to support the maker. Great work! We use this every time we play Scrabble.

It's fantastic but I'm hoping the Dev notices this and corrects a HUGE issue. I play with my daughter and she uses the IOS version. The dictionaries are DIFFERENT! Bede is in ours... Not hers. Shope... Ok on android... Not valid on ios... We noticed this last game. Please fix.! This is a SMALL sample of issues. I can't imagine how many words she's checked that come up invalid and android version says it's good....

Excellent! I love that I can look up words with CSW or TWL. I like that it has a minimalist design, but I'd like a different UI page added with extreme minimalism, without the "Scrabble Word Checker" graphic at the top. That would make it easier to use in split-screen mode with my word games. Thanks!

This Scrabble app is perfect for what it needs to do. Some Scrabble apps provide detailed support by allowing you to enter your letters, spaces available, etc and then provides a list of words to choose from. Players don't even need to think anymore. We don't allow those apps to be used when we play, we expect other players to at least think of their own words! However, this app is perfect for simply verifying that the word a player considers is allowed. Thank you!

The only thing that lets this app down is the very laggy keyboard input. You think you have entered a word for checking, and then you look at the input panel, and only the last couple of letters are there. It is as if The app is asleep and suddenly realises that you are typing!

I wrote this review "Too much kiddy bling. Too much social. Too many ads! Try again!" from the Play Store, accidentally thinking I was writing about the horrific new Scrabble app itself, not the Scrabble Word Checker, which I love and use every few days with my family. At the time I couldn't see how to delete, let alone change it - apols. Stars = increased!

This word checker app is excellent! I actually don't use it for Scrabble much, but rather to check the validity of rarely used words and get their detailed meanings. One request I wish to make is for a dark mode option, since the white background can be glaring at times. Thank you so much for making this app.

Fantastic app. More developers should learn from these fine fellows about how to use non-intrusive and non-obnoxious advertisements. As well, the ability to disable advertisements without haveing to pay a single cent, is amazing and definitely has me keeping my advertisements enabled to support the creators for being so kind to their users. 10/10 for sure!
