First of all the new Android auto feature is bugged, every time it's connected my phone goes black on bimmerlink app. Secondly it doesn't show any dashboard only raw values on sensors. And three why I cannot get a refund in the second I tested it? Bimmerlink could be so good but the interface is so bad. Also to find which sensor gives values you have to test them all by hand, normally you could see from the list which sensors returns values. Too bad.

Very helpful to diagnose issues on the bmw, and good for registering battery and resetting oil service intervals. Down side is having to pay for both Bimmercode & Bimmerlink separately, should have been covered on either of them if you buy one of the two. Otherwise it is very helpful. They should also try to make it read error code instantly like Cylinder misfires, it would want you to drive the car for few minutes to be able to register the misfire in the error even though on values it shows it

Sees BMW and Mini codes that other apps can't. I'd argue for the cost of the app, there could be more information to help diagnose the issue causing the code. Even a direct link to google search OR being able to copy the code to clipboard would be less clunky. Some codes state that they wouldn't throw an engine light in the description, but they definitely do, so that makes diagnosing which code is triggering EMLs and limp modes more time consuming. Priced about right.

It's good. Haven't tried anything else tho but as a first time user, nothing to complain. One suggestion, that the full text description of the gauges be displayed on the dashboard, whenever possible

I purchased the full version and the ability to read error codes and use of other tools are invaluable. I recently had a minor bug with my app where Sound Tuning would not reactivate. I reached out to the bimmerlink support team and Stephan was very prompt with his response and resolved the issue quickly. The very same day, he contacted me and pushed out a new version of the app fixing the bug I had with the app. I highly recommend this app and their amazing support team.

The clearing codes thing is kind of cool, but I got this app mostly for data logging. The data logging on this app seems kind of useless because it only logs at certain intervals, and those intervals are too far apart to be of any use. It can completely miss pulls that are 0-70mph+. If there was a way to set the interval of how often it captures data instead of once every like 10-15 seconds, that would be awesome. Not sure if that's an app limitation or OBD2 limitation.

Battery registration didn't work. My BMW app is still complaining. Contacted them a couple of times to ask for support, they completely ignored me. Well deserved one star.

Bought this and BimmerCode full versions to register a battery which worked well enough. Weird that it takes both apps to get this done (select new size in one, register in the other.) I'd give 4 stars for that but beyond that it's unhelpful. I purchased a different app (Protool) available on play store so that I can see more realtime data and perform default coding on new modules. I suspect I won't use these two BimmerLink/BimmerCode apps anymore since that one is much more robust.
