I don't know if it's just me, but every time I try to use the gulf pay app it keeps saying there is an error. I deleted it and reinstalled it. I have detached the payment and reattached it and it just keeps doing it. I'll just keep using the gas station across the street and use their app.

First attempt to use the app was a total failure. The app found the station so I selected the pump I was at. All the app showed was "Authorizing" which never happened. I tried 3 times with no error message provided. Another attempt on 11/18/24, first the app couldn't locate the station I was at then couldn't activate a pump.

It worked once, now every time I try it I get the air message "something went wrong", I have uninstalled and reinstalled, removed payment method and re-added, nothing worked. Totally useless app not worth your time downloading

This is my second time using it. The first time I didn't get the five cents off per gallon. Because I didn't know you had to find a station first on the app then select pay at the pump. I went to the station inserted my card I was prompted is this a rewards card I selected yes and expected the pump to know this was the card I had on the app. The second time I figured it out and got the five cents off. I wish I could nickname the cards so I know what four numbers are for each bank without looking

App suddenly stopped working at any of my local Gulf stations & no one knows why, so it's useless now.

They shut down and replaced their old gulf pay app with this one. I never had an issue with the old app. I vastly prefer the old app. Both for design and function. They do seem to have fixed or updated some things that were broken when it released, but this app still doesn't do the most important feature from the previous app. I can't find the price of gas at a location. You used to be able to search stations to see what the prices are but they don't show it anymore.

The app and discounts have improved over time but sometimes the receipt does not print at the pump and sometimes an error message failed to fetch come up after the pumping if gas is finished. UPDATE 12/17/23: The login process takes two tries to login and the graphic on the app homescreen is missing. Sending an email to the support address using the feedback button in the app goes to an email address that can not be delivered to. (Email error message, undeliverable). Gulf please update.

So the nickel off doesn't always work. I have the receipts to prove that I didn't receive it but they never replied back after I showed the receipt. The other bad thing is it seems that I always have to get a code which I don't always receive. I can't sit there for however long to receive this code with ppl waiting in line behind me. The last time I entered the code it deleted my card info and I would have had to reenter everything while the person behind me waits for it to all go through.
