Liity maailman suurimpaan hyttysvalvontaverkostoon. Osallistu invasiivisten ja epidemiologisesti kiinnostavien hyttysten tutkimukseen ja seurantaan Mosquito Alert -sovelluksella. Sen avulla voit raportoida hyttyshavainnoista, hyttysten lisääntymispaikoista ja pitää kirjaa hyttysten puremista.

Jakamalla havaintosi tarjoat tietoa, jota tutkijat voivat käyttää tutkimuksessaan ymmärtääkseen paremmin hyttysten ekologiaa, tautien leviämistä ja tarjotakseen tietoa niiden hallinnan parantamiseksi.

Mosquito Alert on useiden julkisten tutkimuskeskusten, CEAB-CSIC:n, UPF:n ja CREAFin koordinoima kansalaistieteellinen hanke, jonka tavoitteena on tutkia, seurata ja torjua tauteja kantavien hyttysten leviämistä.

Mitä voit tehdä sovelluksella?

-Tunnista heidän lisääntymispaikat alueellasi
- Ilmoita, kun saat pureman
- Vahvista muiden osallistujien valokuvat

Yli 50 kansainvälisen entomologin asiantuntijayhteisö vahvistaa alustalle lähettämäsi valokuvat, jotta he voivat oppia tunnistamaan terveydelle kiinnostavat hyttyslajit. Kaikki havainnot julkistetaan Mosquito Alert -karttasivustolla, josta niitä voi katsella ja ladata sekä tutkia osallistujien panoksesta kehitettyjä malleja.

Simple, elegant and (hopefully) effective. It would be great if the app would allow for only selected pictures to be granted access to or was made in a way so we could also use the macro camera on our phones; I then found though, that the app has access to all media regardless of permission settings 😅

Educational and useful for everyone (especially from a public health point of view), I really recommend to install it and to contribute. UPDATE: I've reduced my review from 5 stars to 3 because it's not clear when you can send a mosquito. I just discovered that I can send it for every report I made, but I didn't received any notification, I discovered it by chance looking into "My data" section. This should be definitely improved.

Doesn't work in Pixel 6 Pro. The app opens, request the permissions (without explaining the reason) and after granting the permissions it gets stuck in the home screen. None of the buttons work. To solve this I had to remove the background tracking permission and then the app started working.

Looks like a proper app but does not work on my phone. Asks for movement and location access, and I did not grant those. First I want to see what it does before I grant accesses. But now it keeps on showing a loading circle forever. Uninstalling.

Since the update I get a message in a foreign language (Spanish?) With an 'Agree' button, even though the language is set to English. I can't read it so I can't use the app anymore. Besides that, it also feels like my actions were fruitless, as my information is only sent out, and I never saw any report with worldwide tallies or results of any kind.

Wow! It's great, it's really amazing. In my opinion it is best, and it doesn't require any improvements.And who are saying this app fake are really ___________. I think they will know what to be filled in that dash. And every person have different mindset, so everyone will have different words for them to fill in that dash. But according to me they are dullard.

Useful, but plagued by a software bug: when submitting multiple reports after some days of no activity, only the first one is acquired (irrespective of AI identifying all samples). This unavoidably biases data.

Does not work on my Pixel 2. App opens but I get stuck on the main screen with a loading sign in front of all the buttons. The buttons to report bite, mosquitos or breeding site do not work
