Probably giving 3.63 out of 5 stars, because I got great quality shout-outs. But there's a couple booing instances that Cameo should tweak to improve ratings: extend the wait times if bookings take too long and maybe fix get the person I was hoping to get a shout-out from to respond within two weeks. If you can tweak it, that'll help. But overall, this app is a successful pass. Great job.

Good lord. The concept, the content, the promise, the marketing, the interface, it's all great. But holy cow, it feels more like I downloaded a virus than an app. While Cameo is running, the whole system runs at like 10% speed and it's honestly faster to just shut my phone off and turn it back on again than to close the app. And I was actually gonna use it... Android user, in case the developer cares

This app is a great idea, but incredibly buggy. Today, adding a credit card during the ordering process took me all the way back to the celeb's profile. Updating payment options always shows a blank card, even when the card really is saved. Looking at the message history and order confirmation, there is no indication that I sent a video message along with my request. So now idea if they actually even got it. Some of these requests are expensive, so each feature should work as expected.

The concept of the app is great, interacting with celebs and all. But when I try to request a Cameo it's glitchy as all get-out. It has a hard time uploading pictures and videos for the request, making it impossible to complete as they're both necessary so the celebrity knows who they're talking to. Fix it and I'll fix my review.

Absolutely love this app! Thank you so much for creating this amazing way to interact with our favorite talents! It has truly helped me with the uplifting videos and messages from those I look up to. Thank you! Never leave us! PS For all of the people saying bad things about the app. Try reporting them and give them a chance to fix the glitches. ❤️ Had a couple issues but after telling them exactly what it was doing they were resolved soon after.

It's sure fun to get lost in the people you can request to get a video from and that part of the app is great. Now unfortunately this app needs some work. When I click anything I really can't tell if it's working or not. 90% of the time it takes forever then I end up clicking it a few times to see if it'd working. I'm then hit with it buffering and opening multiple times. Please fix this app. For some reason If I click anything I get no satisfaction if the app even works.

I don't write a ton of reviews, but I used the app and service for the first time and, from end-to-end, it was truly an outstanding experience. The whole process, product, app, etc; all of it was easy, quick, and intuitive. My wife was floored and so excited when I sent it to her. It made her birthday. I'll never be able to top this gift for sure. Prices are absolutely reasonable IMO for what you're getting; a priceless and personalized moment the recipient can cherish forever.

This is app doesn't respect in-app notification preferences, and abuses notification channels. (Example, I've turned off all in-app notifications but direct messages, order updates and "someone made a cameo for me" , yet I continued to get ~4 notifications a day. Separately the only categories in Google notification settings are "general" and "miscellaneous" and neither allow you to filter spam. It's also frequently buggy but I still use it because it provides a service unavailable elsewhere.
