Using SPH issued tablet (samsung galaxy tab A, SM-T510) with latest app update, using reading downloaded "Print" version with internet connected. 1) keeps showing Error msg: "Something went wrong during the download. Please try again later". Actually the "print version" of paper is downloaded successfully. 2) app keeps crashing. Either Screen freeze, or blank page, or not loading content Please address these issues. Thank you.

Terrible? The online version in the app is filled with ads that colour the page with a bright colour suddenly which makes it so hard to read and there are just ads everywhere. I am a subscriber by using a student account and yet I still have to deal with the ads and the glitchy loading? Don't know if it's because of the student account or what but it's not great.

Extremely glitchy. It will crash mid way while reading and return to the previous page with no way of finding the article you were halfway through reading. That is if you even manage to open the app at all

The advertisement in the middle of the article interferes with the scrolling. Not in favor of the new design as well as the PDF view from computer as it opens the article instead of the zoom in compared to last time

Can only see headline, clicked on it and still can't see content. Tried to uninstall and reinstall still didn't work. Wow took you about 1 year to respond.

There is no search function when you're reading an article. If you want to search for a text in a long article, too bad. You will need to go back to the good old browser to do your search there. Update in 2024: After all these years since my review, my wait for the search function has still been in vain

The straits times app on Android keeps bufferring loading news. The Epaper doesn't allow old issues to be deleted to clear storage. IT department not up to it.

Timeout login and Very Slow on Samsung S23 Ultra phone since yesterday 18Oct2024. Uninstall and reinstall still the same. No problem on iPhone. why?
