I was stoked to get an app like this that would help understand the wave heights in locations im travelling to. However, having attended places where this app has proclaimed 4-6m waves the reality is far, far smaller and to be honest completely incorrect. Very disappointed especially after paying for the pro version. Windguru is MUCH more accurate.

Edit: Reinstalled, if only to confirm the previous review. cannot login with js errors. terrible UX. FOCUS ON TESTING NOT COSMETICS. Uninstalled again ### 1st review: Site is MUCH better and functional. Also site is fair and square on the membership and doesn't bug you off everywhere begging for subscription like the app does. This app must be a test, I don't think it's qualitative public release.

Very good app with lots of info, but the star ratings can be misleading due to the combination of swell and spot orientation. You have to know the spot and adjust the forecast accordingly. Also it lacks the webcams when compared to Surfline (Portugal), but then again the subscription is much cheaper, so it's a tradeoff. Maybe you should create a premium version, where are all the cams. Just an idea.

Clickbait rubbish! The website (without signing up) actually shows forecasts FURTHER AHEAD than this. I only downloaded the app because the website DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. Ie, it promises further (longer range) forecasts if you sign up with your email address and password.. then.. nothing happens! Tried it with 2 different browsers. Also, the privacy transparency seems very poor. Seems a scam model really.. monitoring my usage of OTHER APPS on device is not necessary and not cool 🤦‍♂️

Love the app so much, I'm even considering paying for the yearly subscription. Update: bought the yearly subscription. It was only $15. This app is Way better than Surfline.

Once I heard Surfline took over I noticed the tide heights, map locations, and other standard information is inaccurate. Otherwise it's a solid app for your, including your local spots. The price is right as well. I would like to see live buoy links in the app since I surf at sunrise, I can see if the swell is hitting and pack the correct equipment. Thank you for the years of accurate forecasts!
