Do not, I repeat, do not purchase any gift cards with Th3rdwave Montréal. They will ignore your communications and won't give you any assistance when those cards don't work. It is a scam, and their customer service regarding that specific issue is subpar. Extremely disappointing, save your money.

This could be great. I love the idea, but it just doesn't work. I can overlook the occasional crash, and the clunky interface, but the categorizations make no sense. How can you create an app that calls itself 3rd wave that lets you rate coffee on a number of random things like "date" and "brunch", but omits the one thing that matters - the quality of the coffee? I also would love to become a contributor and I tried to give feedback in-app, but the in-app communication doesn't work at all.

Excellent idea but app doesn't feel intuitive. I find it very strange that you can give seemingly infinite love... I clicked a heart a second time to undo it because I pressed it by accident but I ended up giving a second love to something. I repeated this several times and I kept giving love to something? Seems like anyone can just click forever lol Update: can't access app, crashes. I contacted them to delete a comment placed incorrectly, initial response but no action, it's been too long.

This is a beautiful and helpful app, but it's barely usable due to bugs. Sometimes the UI stops responding to touch, sometimes it crashes. One of the worst things is that you can't scroll through list without selecting and item in said list. The list can't differentiate between a swipe and a tap it seems. Another thing that's bugging me is that you can't filter/sort cafes by the myriad of criteria you can rate them by. I'm looking for a good cafe to work from, but I have to open them one by one.

I wish I could love this more, the concept behind it is so great. Such a nice way to discover coffee shops. Also love that they categorized coffee shops around themes. But the app is unusable. Keeps crashing and doesn't load anything. Had to delete and install again, but it's the same thing.

Actually a good app, but not useful for me as there are only 2 cafes in whole Germany, none in my area. Cities with millions of inhabitants and dozens cafes - no entry in Th3rdwave. I hope it survives and expands, then I'll check it out later.

I though the reviews were slanted, too many complaints about a buggy app (could it be true?)... well, as soon as I opened, it crashed! Get your app fixed, people want to love it, so much opportunity here... Just fix it.

Buggy. Won't respond to touch half the time. Also if this app is really about learning about local coffee roasters, why isn't there any information about the coffees available from the roasters directly on the app? Seems to be more about promoting coffee subscriptions and coffee shops rather than learning about different coffees themselves. (Happy to correct any of this if it is off)
