There are constant issues with the app. The most recent one is especially fun. When I try to open the app it just won't load, then it'll tell me to close the app or report the issue, when I try to report the issue it freezes. A fresh install & restarting the phone haven't fixed this, the website is unuseable on mobile bc it keeps redirecting to the (clearly broken) app.

The Barmer app has a really user-friendly interface and it's clear a lot of effort went into the design. However, the only language option is German. This makes it difficult for anyone who doesn't speak German to navigate the app and access its features. Since Barmer likely has many international members, or members who just prefer English, adding English as a language option would be a huge improvement. It would make the app much more accessible to wider audience.

Since I'm waiting for the post to mail me my code & I can't report bugs in the app while doing that, I figured I'd leave a comment here. Everytime I try to verify my identy through scanmimg my ID via phone it just kicks me back to the beginning, like it interrupted the process. Same goes for when I chose other options. So now after downloading the app & going through that entire hassle because I can't verify myself on the website other than via post code, I ended up waiting for that anyway.

Used to work, but now it sadly crashes upon opening. Re-installing did not work, clearing cache did not work. Running on OxygenOS 12.1 | Android12 | HD1903_11_F.22

Complete disaster!!! Reset login after an update, no it's in a constant loop or requesting a code and nicht geklappt 😢 German digitalisierung in action, tho raising prices again soon...

As an international student I can't access the app because I cannot read the language. If the app can have where it switches languages it would be the best. The moment I opened the app after downloading, I was lost so deleted it again. English as an option for international students would be great. Thank you.

It doesn't lode most of the time. Doesn't notify about new messages. After lates updated, it forced a logout, after which there is no way it always to login in any way at all. Doesn't send SMS-Tan code, shows black screen if you want to verify it with your health card. Terrible. BARMER refuses to sent letters via regular mail and and fines you if you do not respond to messages they inly send in app. BARMER demands costumers to use app, that is not functional.
