This is a great app! It gives you a word at a time, gives you the pronunciation, and even a sentence or two. The words are everyday words that you can use right away. It sometimes give you a matching game that you can do quickly or just bypass b/c you need to use your phone. Highly recommend it for someone who is learning basic French.

I would hoenstly give this app (French one, don't know about the others) a 3.5 because I had the pronounciation web version on and a majority of the time, the word didn't pronounce. But when you have the built-in pronounciation, the pronounciation is too fast. And sometimes the sample examples aten't pronounced while the word itself is. It's very frustration overall. But in all, I would recommend this app, just that the company get the rponounciation fixed for both WiFi, Data or offline usage.

I'm all for multiple options but i can't seem to be bothered to search for settings and its also slow, wasting 5 seconds on a word i know because i have to hit next is too much time for nothing. I'll get back to this maybe, but it doesn't work for me out of the box, as the settings are not intuitive for me

I have been trying to learn French, and this app has been so helpful to me. I have learnt so many new words from this application. However, it sends a notification on the lock screen every single morning, and I can only turn it off for a day. It is not even a little message at the top of the screen. It takes over the whole screen, and if i turn it off, i still have to turn it off every other day.

Amazing experience, I'm taking coaching for french and this app helps me to learn vocab along with accurate pronounciation. However, i have one problem while using the app. It doesn't pronounce all the conjugations of verbes when i click the play button, it stops after pronouncing the first conjunction (eg: je parle). It would be a great help if that is fixed through an upgrade. Again, this app is worth it!!!

Excellent concept, broken execution. Very hard to customize the experience and a lot of the time, it doesn't work. I don't want the lock screen to stay on just because I haven't slid the ok button. And no matter what setting I put, the same word keeps showing up. I'm uninstalling for now because it's getting more disruptive than helpful. Probably will reinstall if these bugs are fixed. Great concept though, and zero ads that I noticed.

The app overlays all the other apps. You can't make a fast call, because any time you unlock your phone you got this app that you need to close first. It's very annoying. You can't turn it off for longer than a day. And the worst part is - it interacts with the alarm and the timer! Although you can disable it for the alarm (for 1 hour), but not the timer! So you will end up looking for the clock app through the notification settings! Like Phoebe with her smoke detector)

This app is brilliant for learning languages. Every time you unlock ur phone it displays a word in the foreign language & it's English meaning & some examples of using it. It's also got sound so u can listen to the correct pronunciation. Pretty handy when u think how many times you unlock ur phone each day. U can also tap for additional words if you want more. It's got different language levels of words to build up your vocab, quiz mode, slide mode, verb conjugations. Best thing since sliced 🍞
