I had been using this app for months, and it worked great! I could control every television in my home, a total of 4. Since the recent update, the app will not connect to any of them. Not to mention, the new layout is difficult to navigate. Looks like it's time to uninstall and find a new remote app.

This worked great up until the app updated last night and now it no longer connects to my EKO TV. I don't have home WiFi currently, so I would turn on my phones personal WiFi hotspot to connect my TV and that worked perfectly until the app updated last night so now it requires a different WiFi source to connect my TV, so now it's useless to me. Universal remotes don't work with EKO so I need to order a 2nd replacement remote which will likely break within months just like the 1st two did.

Why on earth did you change the whole app this morning? Can't even connect to my TV now.. AND the remote looks blurry now.. just put the app back to what it was. OK just connected the remote but now it just doesn't work at all.. thank God I have another app as my actual remote was lost during the move. This is ridiculous I have been using the app and remote all year no worries now even if connected no buttons work. Glad I never paid for premium Cus I would have been furious at this point in time

Everytime using this app you have to manually connect wifi. Even when its in background and go use remote on phone you have to connect wifi. It does work but some of the buttons dont worm like the input button wont switch between i have to go to home and manually press the input to switch. I use this along with my physical remote. But its not user friendly.

Only option, actually stopped using TV the amount of ads and reconnecting, not worth it. Gonna buy a universal,it's faster to walk to the tv manual than the 1 minute or two of ads EVERY TIME I use it
