What a shame. Used to work fine, was able to buy a ticket, load onto Smartcard and done. Now twice it gets you to the payment page then says you have timed out. My phone is saying this app was last updated in Mar 2023 - and there are no other available android updates at the moment. For an app to be efficient there should be regular fixes. Not only that - you have tried to avoid queueing only to find out you have to anyway.

App is terrible, I have only been using the app a few weeks and multiple times I have bought a ticket and then it says "There was an error" but I get charged anyway. Typically train companies robbing their already prisoned consumer base since I have to buy the ticket or how else am I going to get to work. Oh yeah and if you want a refund, better be willing to wait 28 days. Not worth it, stick with paper.

Don't bother instead use Greater Anglia app. My experience of this app is that it does not work. Extremely buggy and constantly crashes. However, it seems perfectly functional when taking money from your account. C2C will take multiple sums of money from your account and not issue a single ticket to you! When you contact customer service for a refund they will take weeks or months to respond and resolve the issue. If you want a refund they will charge you £10 for the refund for THEIR ERRORS.

The worst app I've ever used. Full of bugs, claims to remember my Railcard, but doesn't. Always get the "oops something went wrong" message. Always need to enter my address and payment details (never remembers). Still has my old smart card registered, which I'm told cannot be removed. Trouble selecting a start day and time (errors that the end day and time must be after, which is fine, but let me make the change, I've not done end date time yet!). Often doesn't load and doesn't tell you. Awful.

As advised on my previous review, finally managed to buy my Flexi season by selecting a random station (only 6 listed!!!) for tapping in. The website isn't much better, couldn't even select my to / from stations but luckily sorted through the app. I thought the point of a smart card was to make things easier and more convenient but always results in frustration and stress. No wonder I see massive queues at local station for tickets! Sort your app and website out C2C!!!!! 😡

Shockingly bad. Buying tickets, which should be a quick and easy process, is laborious and not user friendly. Checking train times shows a loading wheel before even being able to select the stations and then loads a blank page. EVERY TIME. This app (and the station ticket machines) induces a lot of frustration before the journey has even begun.

When selecting "repurchase" it finds trains a f t e r the time of the ticket you are trying to repurchase, ensuring you have to complete the whole process again. It doesn't remember details like address and postcode, despite it being the only one used on the app ever. Tickets regularly fail to load onto your smart card, so that you need to show emailed receipt to station staff to gain access to or from the platform

This app is clunky and unreliable. My login credentials and smart card details are never stored. Only way I can book without having to re-enter my smart card number every time is to re-book from an old reservation. I've had the app crash several times at the end of bookings which means I have duplicate charges pending for a while. Entering the time and dates for travel is super clunky too. I've had to delete and reinstall the app ad it won't open after an update now. Just a mess.
