Extremely loud commercials. Who wants to hear blairing commercials and a lot of them first thing in the morning. Its deceptive. Will be moving to a new news source. Its been 6 years since I have used this app, i cant do the loud ads anymore.

Certain commercials get so loud you'd think there is a club party in the house!! The app simply has a volumn control issue. Nobody seems to address. I like watching the news but not screaming at me. Hopefully they fix it soon or uninstalling with bad reviews. 11/11/24 It apparently has not been fixed, the sound problem. Some commercials are so loud, just trying to watch cannel 5 news. Going to uninstall the app and find something better. Unfortunately the app is on my tv. 1/25 still nothing,

Plays repeat ads for months. I watch the local morning news each weekday, and I've been seeing the same ads for their programs for over a year. Some ads play every commercial break for 30 seconds or a minute, meaning I've watched several hours of these programs through their ads already. And since the ads never change, I have to believe that the program content doesn't, either. I see no reason to bother watching their programs as even the ads are stale.

I just installed this app and was asked to pick the nearest city with a TV station. Instead of filling in an answer, I had to choose a city without its State. I chose Portland (I live in the PNW) It said I could now watch local stations, which, of course, were from Portland (Maine). Thanks for that webmaster.

Unfortunately I can't see any other channels except one. I just want a regular TV guide app. I'm in a heavy populated city with many TV stations. Unfortunately the next closest city it shows me is over 2000 miles away. Useless app.

This app use to be great, now all it does is play the first 3 news stories over and over again, and when you try to scroll through to get to the rest of the news it plays the same 4 advertisements over and over again, currently they are political and it is the most annoying thing ever, now we use haystack because it's way WAY better and doesn't repeat over and over. Don't bother with this app.

I love this app! You get some great stories which a lot of local stories. I can get the local news and some really good recipes. You can experience restaurants you have never tried. I have told several people about this app and they told me they appreciate me letting them know. I highly recommend this app. Thank you Very Local for introducing me.

I live in Winston-Salem, NC and installed the Android App. It only showed local things and NONE of the Originals that are advertised on the Very Local website. I could search for them by title if I knew the name but no way to choose episodes like one would except in an app like this.
