Why are there separate apps for nanit night light and camera? If they're made by the same company they should be managed in the same app. Update: First, there shouldn't be two separate apps to begin with for two products from the same company. Second, while you can link the nightlight into the main app, the functionally is severely limited. You can basically turn the nightlight on or off but you can't change the color or the white noise sound.

The wifi setup in the app is not compatible with my Samsung s22 ultra whatsoever. Uninstalled, reinstalled, clear cache, log out, login, reset the light 100 times, nothing was working! After a week of failing tries I ended up using my husbands phone and it worked just fine. On the S22 it just does a circle loading when the Wi-Fi networks screen should pop up then it times out and gives a error. If this is happening to you, try a different model phone for setup.

Hatch could learn a thing or two from this app. Really easy to use and very responsive.

Worked great for a week - then there was an update on March 5th which caused it to emit a high pitched electrical buzz with the light on. Different colors changed the loudness and pitch of the buzz. Contacted company who told me to reset. Still makes noise after resetting. They asked for a video but the noise will not pick up on video. Again worked great before update.

We've used and loved Nanit cameras for a few years now with our two young kids. We've just gotten a Sound/Light. The Sound/Light device and app seem to work well thus far. My biggest complaint is having to use a separate app for the Sound/Light; it seems like Nanit should have integrated this functionality into the main Nanit app. I'd love for them to go a step further and integrate the two devices so that I could play sound from both devices at the same time, or set a routine for the camera.

App appears to work great, though Ive not attempted initial setup since the app was updated. I used an iPhone to get around the below issue on Android. previous: App crashes when attempting to connect Sound and Light to wifi. Making for an expensive night light.

It crashes always when I need it most. The light function with the sound is great when it is actually working. My wife's app crashes constantly and mine is doing the same now too. It's frustrating because there is no quick fix for this.

Will not connect to device via Samsung S22 Ultra. Wish I didn't drop $400 on the camera and the sound/light device. My Amazon echo spot does a better job with white noise, because I can verbally control my Amazon device. Maybe I'll try my wife's iPone?...
