miniVAN est une application de démarchage mobile qui s'intègre aux sites Web fournis par NGP VAN. Le système miniVAN permet aux utilisateurs d'exporter des listes de prospection de VAN vers un appareil iOS ou Android. Les solliciteurs peuvent ensuite saisir des données dans leur appareil tout en parlant aux personnes figurant sur leur liste. Lorsque les solliciteurs connectent leur appareil à Internet via un réseau sans fil ou cellulaire, ils peuvent télécharger leurs données sur le VAN en appuyant simplement sur un bouton.La prospection avec miniVAN permet aux clients NGP VAN de consacrer plus de temps et de ressources à contacter réellement les personnes plutôt qu'à la saisie de données. Solid app. The maping needs a bit of work as it simply selects the next nearest house regardless of streets or paths but that is easily worked around. One feature it needs is the ability to choose between light and dark mode. During the day it's hard to read the map while in Dark mode which is my system default and I would like to select light mode for this particular app without changing system default.

I used this a lot during 2024 canvassing. Suggestions: I would love to be able to hide voters on the map, such as to filter out the houses that I've already done. When I zoom out, it's impossible to tell. Second, I would have loved to see my totals across multiple lists because it all became a blur. How many total houses did I visit? No idea. I think the rest of the stuff I would suggest is related to how campaigns set up response options. E.g., there needs to be a "can't find address" option.

This app could use an upgrade! It would be awesome if the lit drops you completed turned a bright color because when you are outdoors it is difficult to tell the difference between black and gray. It should sync automatically. The addresses should be organized in a more user friendly manner. Once you finish your list it should move into a finished file. Make it easier for volunteers to use.

Pretty good but has many drawbacks while actually using it. Was using for a get out the vote operation and script was all wrong. Syncing was very problematic. The automatic sync was not often enough. Was canvassing with a partner. The app says that two locations were canvassed. Many more locations were canvassed.

The order of data input should match collection order. The first data point collected pertains to the address itself. Is it inaccessible, hostile, legit etc. If negative, these preclude further points. Next, should be, has a contact been made? Is it the target voter(s), someone else? Only at this point should it go into the voters proclivity. This approach would avoid alot of uncertain, redundant scrolling. A logical order following collection sequence would improve canvas efficiency. UXstuff

Why is Lit Drop on the list of reasons I couldn't contact this person? It makes no sense. After I enter that they're not home, it should tell me if I should leave literature or not, based on their history - I shouldn't have to check their history manually and then decide whether to leave the lit or not. Once you click on a name, their address doesn't show at the top. I had to spend a lot of time clicking back and forth between tabs. The order of addresses had me backtracking, which wasted time.

Login from last election won't work. Password change sent to phone I don't have anymore. Can't create new login, keeps sending confirmation to old phone. Uninstall, restart phone, reinstall, no joy. It sucked in 22 and it still does. So I guess I can't canvass now? I swear this app is an enemy agent sent to help people lose their races. God how I hate this app.

The photos here don't show what is most useful for me: where I am on the street where some houses are marked with the voters with whom I'm to speak. I also like the facility that makes invisible the voters I've already contacted. It's all much easier to use than a clipboard with pen and paper.
