ID.me Authenticator est une solution simple et gratuite à authentification à deux facteurs (2FA) pour votre compte ID.me. Il sécurise vos comptes en ligne sur les sites Web prenant en charge 2FA. Cette application génère des mots de passe à usage unique temporels (TOTP) à 6 chiffres et une authentification par simple pression basée sur des notifications PUSH.

ID.me Authenticator en tant que générateur de code TOTP: Pour vous connecter à votre compte, vous devez avoir votre nom d'utilisateur, votre mot de passe et un code de vérification que vous pouvez générer à l'aide de cette application. Une fois configuré, vous pouvez obtenir des codes de vérification sans avoir besoin d'une connexion réseau ou cellulaire lorsque cette application est utilisée comme générateur de code TOTP. Absolutely terrible. It doesn't work most of the time. Even something as simple as resetting a password is horrific. You click on the link to do so, and it errs. And God forbid you get a new mobile device. It simply cannot cope. Then, you log into support and get AI generated responses that send you circling through the instructions that you can read for yourself with no further insight. This app would never survive in the private sector as customers would run to the competition in droves.

This app/ service is completely flawed. It is full of bugs and not efficient or effective way to verify someone's identity. It makes handling routine errands difficult, time consuming and frustrating for law abiding citizens. I tried multiple times to add my own photos information etc. But the software just kept buffering and did not send the codes/ texts as expected. I had to repeat the entire process more then 3 times. A complete waste of time

Terrible app. I've used this for California's EDD identify verification system and for two-factor authentication for medication prescribers. The process for verifying your identity is incredibly glitchy at every step. You can start setting up an account online but can't finish it without a mobile phone. Then it's unclear how to pick up where you left off, or at some steps, impossible. There is no way to log out of the app so you have to force close it to get it to reboot. It inexplicably sometimes states it can't send texts with authentication codes but can send texts with links to download something else to the same number. Good luck with getting the video selfie to work. I cannot believe an app that serves one purpose (verify your identity) with a set number of means (upload documents, take photos of yourself, enter info) cannot even get these limited functions right. It is incredibly unfortunate that we have no choice but to use it. I hope everyone calls their elected representatives in hopes that we can at least force government entities to stop using this horrible product.

Cannot upload documents to verify who I am, so I requested the video call. I was then able to upload my documents, but took forever for them to review. Then video call was a black screen. Got nowhere with this. App asks for a code to get in. The code pops up, but only gives you 26 seconds to go back to screen, add the info needed, and when I submit it takes me back to these codes. And the code changed. So frustrating!

Absolutely HORRIBLE APP. Keeps crashing, will not allow youy to download to a computer or laptop. Restsrts endlessly in aloop that never ends and when you try again, it goes back to the same error message. Simply frustrating and not fit for human consumption. I wish there was an alternative, but I have to have this to link my records. I am lost in space! No help desk and no one to reach out to. Very, VERY bad App.

The most frustration experience ever! This APP is slow, hard to work with & glitchy. You have to constantly repeat the login process over & over again. Not because it's required as much as it is needed, because the APP just won't verify you. You need it for unemployment, so you have to stick with it, but that only makes the experience worse. It doesn't like certain phones & you much use your phone. You can't do it all on your computer. It's simply a painful process.

This app is a horrific failure. I have never seen such an atrocious travesty. Instructions on the website are incorrect or nonexistent. It launches by presenting a 6 digit code generator for some purpose but doesn't say why or where to insert it. If it the alternative to the QR code, that is never explained. If you spontaneously press and hold the 6 digit key in order to copy to clipboard, having never been prompted to do so, the whole key does not paste. Nor can you edit the key.

I've been running around playing email tag trying to use this app to get verified for my practice management software. It has been horrible. You can't speak to a human, they schedule a call and never call, and you never get the prompts that the help screen says you will get to allow you to accomplish anything. It is incredibly frustrating
