Although generally a useful app, showing parent content from different schools is a really bad idea, and briefly gave me the impression there was a security problem. There wasn't, but still, poor design. Please don't do that again. Edit: It was some new feature overlay from the app itself. Lots of apps do that, but in this case it looked really bad: instead of messages from my kid's school, I saw other kids and another school. Use obvious fake content instead to present your new features.

This app was much smoother 6 months ago. Then a major update ruined it for me. For example, I used to easily copy full text and translate without leaving the app by highlighting text and then press "Translate" from the pop up menu. Now I only get "copy" in the pop up menu which is different from all other apps. New update on 4 April 2024 still didn't fix the missing translation option today existed a year ago.

I'm experiencing a problem with Parro since April 1st. I was opening the app to see the school updates of the day and it logged me off. I tried sometimes to login again and even change the password. After I try everything, I requested the school to fix the problem and they sent me new links, but none of them works. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Parro. I am 3 days now without Parro and I can't make the activities of school with my daughter that they are sending on quarantine. Frustrating!

The Parro app overrules the sound settings on my phone. I have my phone set to vibrate, but a sound is played when there is a notification. This is the only app on my phone that does this, so I think it should be possible to fix.

The new Paro 2.0 looks great, but it removes an option to copy the text sent by the teacher in the class feed for translation. Or Could you please include a feature like translate to English under the teacher feed posts? This feature will be useful for non-native Dutch parents who do not speak Dutch.

Notifications are useless. Cannot send messages by default but have to request in person. If you have more than 1 kid at same school,get multiple copies of same uodate. Told this was a feature but is a huge bug to me because makes me ignore notifications. Settings are limited. Absolutely hate this app.

All in all a nice app. Dislike the fact I get a push notification for everything added to the calendar though. Most of them are completely irrelevant and added in bulk. Should be able to select which notifications I want to receive
