Used this app for years. It's great. Recently, I turned on the alerts, one of which is for rain with a voice saying the est time until rain starts/ stops. Alerts are quite accurate, & they help a lot. However, this alert starts with an incredibly loud sound effect that sounds like those used in horror films when a bl*de is shown; very sharp & sudden, & I've jumped many times. In the free settings, there is no way to change the volume or sound. This is why my rating is 3 stars. Please fix this!

I've only been using Willy Weather for a week now. so far it has been really good, definitely better than BOM. the radar has good detail and the sequence or slide show is easy to stop and reverse helping to make an assessment of showers approaching. I love the synoptic chart! There is also tide heights , humidity and phases of the moon, love it. As for the accuracy long term forecasts, only time will tell and it might be asking a lot for Willy to have their own meteorologists.

I've noticed IOS users have had about 5-6 updates from around the same time android got their last update. Why don't android users get the same treatment? I don't expect the app to be 100%, but unfortunately, willyweather still has the annoying bugs with the map constantly spinning when opening the app, graph issues when layed over upon each other and you can't see the wind direction because the UV graph is in front. Widget issues with no data, suburb name partly missing followed by .... etc.

Some things in the app you need to pay for but there's everything I need and it's got more than other weather apps. It's organised well, tides, moon cycle and weather etc, all have their own tabs and are clearly laid out in graphical form over several days. I really like this app. What's with the name, though?😅

$48 a year or any kind of ongoing payment is too much for an app that's decent, 3.5/5 sort of thing. Rain notifications are nice and the graph style too but the real value is using the BOM as the source. Would pay a one-off to remove ads, but the sheer amount of space the ads take makes it hard to use.

Love the app, the ads are getting ridiculous. I would happily pay a one time $15 purchase just to get rid of the ads, i don't need the other stuff. I just want the ads gone, they are absurd, often ai generated nonsense most of which think i am an elderly fat man, despite the fact i am 22 and not obese, these seem to only pop up in willy weather and i find the app itself too useful to just abandon it. Please, im happy to support to things i find useful but $6 a month is too much just for the ads.

It works well and is actually right would recommend. But thay only problem is i can not have it on my watch. Winch is a shame because I really like WillyWeather. Winch is why I have it on my devices That is the only reson for the 4 star rating. Would be nice if it could be updated to go on watch

Works just fine when the weather is clear, but not when there is actually something to see on the radar, been waiting two days for it to load. And now apparently it's broken. Been saying 27° for 2 days. Obviously hotter than that. 34° at time of writing.
