Just recently had a device put in and the app was working great. I would check it every day at 2am to make sure the app was working. So far, twice, I have had the app demanding it stay open to connect to the monitor. All good and well I'm theory, however, when working the overnight shift, that's not an option. Fast forward to today, the second time, it started giving notice that it couldn't connect. There's no update so I don't know what gives.

The app continually shuts down and then reloads itself, sending a notification that it's running in the background. You would think that Abbott could make a more reliable app for an $80K heart device. It shakes my confidence in the device and its ability to transmit vital info about my heart.

Have only one big inconvenience while using my MerlinPulse application and that is the constant message saying it is running in background and on a loop all day long...gets very annoying and most inconveniently sound and messaging while you are needing it to be quiet around your surroundings. Everything else works effectively and glad to have this app connected to my device for transmitting purposes and for my peace of mind especially since my health depends on my ICD

App says there is an android update available but won't install. It's not my phone. Also, when my heart is having issues it takes forever for this app to connect to my device and send the telemetry. Often times I have to restart my phone to get the app to connect. Kind of defeats the purpose of being able to quickly alert someone to look at the info in a timely manner. It also at times says I am not connected to the internet when I am.

Satisfactory app, straightforward user interface, great choice of fonts and colors to ensure ease of reading. Only issues I have is, 1: it wants full-time location permissions, and 2: for consistent connectivity Bluetooth must be turned off then on before sending a transmission.

I Have tried many times to send information to my doctor but the app can't connect! I'm not sure what the problem is. One of the best drawback is the people collecting the information: they don't offer 24/7 technical support!

Well, reading other reviews tells me they are not about customer care because they have the same automated response to every review no matter what the review says. My device when I go to the history option shows it has never sent a transmission. I don't even know if this damn thing is working. And now it's saying it ain't connected to turn on allow all the time on the permission settings and my settings are already set to those settings. I don't get it.

App is not useful at all. It only collects your personal data and uses a great deal of memory. I assumed by the way they say its needed after the implant it monitor and inform, thats not the case. If you can't tell me whwn im having an issue right away in stead of every 30 days the app is useless.
